Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much-awaited movie Daku Maharaj is set to release tomorrow as a grand Sankranthi gift. The film’s teaser and trailer have garnered immense praise from fans, building high expectations. A pre-release event was held in Hyderabad yesterday, drawing a huge crowd of excited fans.
Addressing the audience at the event, Balayya expressed confidence in the film’s success. He proudly stated that all his previous Sankranthi releases have been hits and assured fans that Daku Maharaj will surpass their expectations. “The movie is even more impressive than its trailer,” he declared. Highlighting his self-confidence and individuality, he added, “I am my own courage, my own pride. I don’t need anyone’s fame—I wear my own fame as a crown and carry it with pride.”
Quoting one of his dialogues from the film, he entertained the audience, saying, “I am Daku Maharaj. If history needs to be created, I am the one. If it needs to be rewritten, I am the one.”
Balakrishna also teased fans with a glimpse of what’s to come, revealing that they can expect to witness his “Vishwaropam” in Akhanda 2. He emphasized his commitment to delivering diverse and impactful films.
He praised the talented performances of Pragya Jaiswal and Shraddha Srinath, who play key roles in the movie. Balayya also shared an interesting detail about casting Bobby Deol for Daku Maharaj, noting that it happened before Bobby’s association with the movie Animal.
