Bellamkonda Sreenivas is set to return with the much-anticipated horror thriller Kishkindhapuri. The film’s promotional content has already struck a chord with audiences, raising curiosity about what’s in store. Directed by Koushik Pegallapati, known for Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, the project reunites Sreenivas with Anupama Parameswaran after their successful pairing in Rakshasudu.
Originally scheduled for release on September 12, Kishkindhapuri will now hit screens on September 13, 2025. The makers deliberately chose this new date, as the number 13 is often linked with fear, superstition, and mystery—perfectly matching the film’s eerie theme. The shift also helps the movie avoid a direct clash with Teja Sajja’s highly anticipated Mirai, which releases a day earlier.
Backed by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, the film boasts music by Chaitan Bharadwaj and Sam CS, with cinematography handled by Chinmay Salaskar. Full-scale promotions are expected to kick off soon, setting the stage for what promises to be an engaging horror experience.
