The wait for Bigg Boss 9 Telugu is almost over. Ahead of the main season, a special pre-show titled Agnipariksha is being held in Hyderabad, hosted by Navdeep, Bindu Madhavi, and Abhijeet.
The makers have now confirmed that the reality show will stream exclusively on JioCinema/Hotstar from August 22, 2025. Adding to the excitement, the latest update reveals that the Bigg Boss house will be divided into two sections this season.
One section will feature only commoners, while the other will be home to celebrities. Reports suggest that the commoners’ side will include five or six fresh faces along with five contestants selected from the Agnipariksha pre-show.
This new experiment comes after a dull Bigg Boss 8 Telugu season, which struggled with low TRPs. To revive the buzz, the makers are banking on the clash between commoners and celebrities, setting the stage for what could be one of the most intense and entertaining seasons of Bigg Boss Telugu yet.
