Vishwambhara, the much-awaited Telugu socio-fantasy film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, is making headlines once again. Directed by Vassishta Mallidi of Bimbisara fame, the film features Trisha Krishnan as the female lead.
Ahead of his birthday tomorrow, Chiranjeevi released a special promo video addressing the film’s delay. The actor explained that the extensive CG work in the second half required more time, which pushed the film’s release. He also announced that a special birthday teaser will be unveiled today at 06:06 PM.
Chiranjeevi further confirmed that Vishwambhara is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in Summer 2026, in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. The update has heightened excitement among fans, who are eagerly waiting to see what surprises the makers have in store.
The film also stars Kunal Kapoor as the antagonist and Ashika Ranganath in a pivotal role. Backed by UV Creations, the project has Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravaani handling the music, promising a grand cinematic experience.
