The AICC chief Rahul Gandhi has slammed the Modi led BJP government for its failure in all fronts in doing justice to the sun rising state Andhra Pradesh.
Though Congress is the prime culprit for the current situation of the State, Rahul Gandhi has stated that under the BJP rule of four years it has further damaged it to a greater extent. On addressing the public meeting Satyameva Jayate, Rahul Gandhi has lambasted BJP government by stating that the Special Category Status has become a political promise to the party but reminded them by saying its the right of A.P people.
Rahul has also taken a dig at BJP’s false promises. He fumed at Narendra Modi saying that he has done a great injustice to the state by stepping back on Kadapa Steel plant and Vishakapatnam railway zone. He also stated that they are creating a lot of problems on the completion of National project Polavaram. He even spoke about various other issues starting from the grants and developments of the educational institutions to the development of backward regions.
He finally assured the people of A.P that Special Category status is the right of A.P people and its only possible through Congress party.
