Date:

Before the most hyped Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, the State of Andhra Pradesh is getting ready for the graduates MLC elections. The EC of India issued the much-needed notification for these polls to have utmost clarity.

First and foremost, the sudden death of Visakhapatnam’s MLC MVVS Murthy is included in the polls and the election for that will be organized on 22nd of March at the city itself. Sources say that the present MLC Gade Srinivasulu is heavily lobbying for getting the support of the ruling party TDP. however, the National Chief of the Yellow fort, CBN declared that his party will not be participating in the Uttarandhra MLC elections nor supporting any of its candidates. However, he is rather interested to win the seats of Krishna-Guntur, East-West. All these four-seat aspirants can start filing their nominations from 25th of this month, that is from today and the last date is on the 5th of March. The scrutiny and selections for the nominations shall be concluded by 8th of March and the entire polls are wrapped up in 28th along with the results.

Both ruling party and the Opposition took the MLC battle as a prestige issue so that it might show its own influence on the minds of the voters. Whatever might be the case, TDP being the ruling party has some benefits and likely to win.
