The AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been pinning huge hopes on his daughter Polavaram Project. With a mission of providing water for 5 lakh acres of agricultural land, he is struggling hard to complete this mission above all odds.Polavaram Project has been facing many problems since the foundation stone itself. After gaining power, CBN worked his way to start this project and complete it before May of 2019.
Initially, the Central Government which assured its assistance to the project tried its hard to stall this project by halting the funds. At this dire situation, heavy rains and floods delayed the project works which are already lagging before the planned schedule. But this determined CM is reportedly working overtime and observing the developments of this project. At times, he is meeting the officials of the project and encouraging them to keep their spirits up.
His deadline is the May of next year such that all the works along with the cofferdam should be completed to gift it to the people of Andhra Pradesh.Apart from adding a milestone to his career, this project would provide enormous mileage to his leadership. Not just this, CBN has ordered all the Government officials and Engineers to complete all the Irrigation projects before the commencement of next elections in AP.
