Conditional bail granted to Ghazal Srinivas!

Renowned Ghazal singer Srinivas managed to secure a bail at last. The Nampally Court issued a conditional bail to the singer couple of hours back. Ghazal Singer was arrested after his sexual harassment on a woman-employee saw the light. The victim additionally submitted few videos, which further testified his harassment conduct.

Though Punjagutta Police once again filed against the granting of bail, the ruling came in favor of Ghazal Srinivas. The City Civil Court has directed the singer to appear in Punjagutta police station in persona, every Wednesday, and Sunday. Ghazal Srinivas needs to submit Rs. 10,000 as a security deposit, with two people guaranteeing (by signature) his conduct on bail.

Ghazal Srinivas case became a sensation after a woman working in the singer’s Alayavani Radio studio approached the police on the grounds of sexual harassment. The 51-year-old singer’s arrested took place on January 2nd, 2018. Moreover, the initial bail petition was rejected on January 5th by the court. The Punjagutta police filed a counter that the singer can influence the case’s investigation.

Ghazal Srinivas who became a household name for his Ghazals equally became famous for with the sexual harassment case. The singer also has a Guinness Record to his name.
