In what may be called as a big shock, the firebrand leader Revanth Reddy lost his MLA seat of the Kodangal constituency to the TRS candidate with a huge margin. This fearless leader of Congress did accept his defeat and pledged the people to do his best.Revanth who never lost in elections when he was in TDP used to be one of the potential CM candidates if at all Mahakutami wins in the snap polls. However, Mahakutami lost severely despite the backup of TDP and Revanth too faced defeat in Kodangal. Prior to the results, all are confident on Revanth’s win as he is considered as the perfect rival to the TRS Chief KCR in every mean.
Also, the arrest of Revanth by Telangana Police just a couple of days before the elections too fetched enormous sympathy towards him. On contrary to all these, Revanth lost in the snap polls but this dynamic leader won the hearts of many by arranging a Press meet.Accepting the judgment of People, Revanth expressed his sorrow hiding the pain in his eyes and thanked the voters who supported him. He promised the people that he will continue his fight for the people against the Government on their problems. One cannot see Revanth in the Telangana Assembly from now on.
