Death Sentence For Anyone Who Rapes A Girl

The Madhya Pradesh State Government is gearing up for one of the biggest changes in the history of law. The state cabinet has given the green signal for implementation of capital punishment against those who are convicted on the charges of raping any girl 12-year-old and younger. The strict measures have come at a time when there has been an outcry among on the citizens of the nation over the safety of minor girls.
In the same meeting, the cabinet also awarded the capital punishment for those who commit gang-rape over a woman.
An official who was present at the meeting said that ‘The state government is very serious about the safety and security of girls and woman in the state. The cabinet is working towards the rise in fine and sentence if the allegations against the person are found to be true in front of the honorable court. They are thinking to impose a fine of Rs. 1 Lakh for eve-teasing. The government is currently working to introduce a bill in the upcoming winter assembly sessions.’
According to the NCRB – National Crime Records Bureau, the state of Madhya Pradesh is leading with the most number of rapes on a woman.
