The much-awaited trailer of Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey’s film Chhapaak is out today. The actress is seen playing the role of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in the film. For her role, the actress has completely transformed herself as Laxmi and she looks absolutely breathtaking and flawless. The film will see Deepika work for the first time with television heartthrob Vikrant Massey, who plays the role of a journalist in the film.
As soon as the trailed dropped today, people couldn’t stop raving about it and said they can’t wait to watch the whole film, which will be hitting the screens next year in January. The trailer starts with a scene of protest, followed by the acid attack on Deepika’s character named ‘Malti’ and then her journey of pain and suffering, ending with an overpowering sense of emotion as she battles for her life and ultimately emerges out as a winner.
