Grigor Dimitrov produced a shocking upset for the Grand Slam champion Roger Federer at the US Open on Tuesday, the lowest-ranked New York semi-finalist in 28 years advancing to face Daniil Medvedev.

“I’m just happy,” Dimitrov briefed. “The only thing I was telling myself was to stay in the match. Physically I was feeling pretty good. Anything can happen on a particular day,” the Bulgarian briefed after he reached the semi-final and he finished the chat.
Federer left the court for a private medical attention in the timeout to treat his upper back near his neck.”This is Grigor’s moment, not my body’s moment,” Federer replied when he was asked about the impact of his injury on the match. Dimitrov’s next assignment is against Russia’s Medvedev in the US Open 2019 semi-final on Friday.
