Apart from being a successful filmmaker Karan Johar (KJ) is also known as a ‘launcher’. The star director-cum-producer has launched many Bollywood celebrities’ children on the silver screen. What’s more surprising is that many of them went on to attain star-status in recent times.

The star filmmaker has been working on his ‘dream project’ titled ‘Shiddat’, for the last two years. According to close sources, Shiddat had India’s first lady superstar Sridevi, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt on-board. The filmmaker thought that his dream to direct Sridevi would be fulfilled with this project.

The sudden demise of Sridevi left every one disheartened. While few paid their homage by accompanying her until her final destination, many took to social media. Karan Johar also accompanied Sridevi, for the final time. The filmmaker has reportedly shelved the film, instead of finding a replacement for Sridevi. This clearly shows the kind of respect and bonding Karan Johar is having towards the eternal beauty Sridevi.

Reportedly, Karan Johar has taken Sridevi’s daughters; Jahnavi and Kushi under his wings. With Jahnavi to resume shooting for her debut film after a little while, Kushi too will be seen in a Bollywood film pretty soon.
