Riding high on the success of F2, star hero Venkatesh is currently shooting for his next film Venky Mama. This KS Ravindra directorial is all set to hit the screens this December. Meanwhile, the Gharshana actor is readying up to okay the scripts of his future projects. A few directors like Trinadha Rao Nakkina and Tharun Bhascker are in the queue to make a film with Venky. According to the sources, Venky is planning to take Srikanth Addala’s Asuran remake first. Venkatesh wants to finish it off soon and get it released by Sankranthi next year.. Apparently, the Pelli Choopulu director has come up with a sports-based script for the actor.

This film will revolve around horse racing and we hear that most of the film will be shot in the Race Club situated in Malakpet area of Hyderabad. Suresh Babu will bankroll the film. Venky was recently seen as a boxing coach in the film Guru and it will be interesting to watch him in another sports drama. Because of Asuran, the project was kept on hold now.
