The Drishyam franchise has built a massive following among Hindi audiences, with both films starring Ajay Devgn emerging as major box-office successes. The second installment, in particular, turned into a blockbuster and further strengthened the popularity of the crime-thriller series.
While the original Malayalam franchise continued with another chapter, the Hindi adaptation is taking a different route by concluding the story with its third installment, titled Drishyam: The Conclusion. The makers unveiled the much-awaited theatrical trailer today at a grand event in Goa, and the glimpse promises a tense and compelling finale to the popular franchise.
The trailer once again brings Meera Deshmukh into the spotlight as she remains determined to bring Vijay Salgaonkar and his family to justice. Armed with fresh evidence, Meera appears more relentless than ever as she looks for a way to put Vijay and his family behind bars.
However, Vijay faces an even bigger challenge this time with the arrival of Crime Branch S.P., played by Jaideep Ahlawat. The new officer poses a serious threat to the Salgaonkar family and appears determined to expose their secrets while putting their reputation at stake.
Vijay, however, refuses to back down. His belief that an ordinary man can become an unstoppable force when protecting his family forms one of the key emotional elements of the trailer. The escalating conflict, sharp dialogues and mounting tension make the glimpse particularly intriguing.
Technically, the trailer makes a strong impression with its background score, performances, production design and overall visual quality. The fast-paced editing keeps the suspense intact and suggests that the third installment will deliver another edge-of-the-seat experience.
Interestingly, Drishyam: The Conclusion is not being presented as a scene-by-scene remake of the Malayalam third installment. The Hindi version reportedly features a completely fresh screenplay, giving the makers room to take the story in a different direction and offer audiences an original conclusion to Vijay Salgaonkar’s journey.
The franchise already carries enormous goodwill, and the impressive trailer is likely to push the excitement even higher. The film is scheduled to hit cinemas on October 2, setting the stage for what could be a major theatrical release.
Backed by Panorama Studios and Star Studios, the crime thriller features Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. With a high-stakes story, a powerful ensemble and a promising trailer, Drishyam: The Conclusion appears ready to deliver a gripping finale to one of Hindi cinema’s most popular thriller franchises.
