In the wake of the tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, actor-producer Manchu Vishnu has announced the postponement of the much-anticipated trailer launch of his upcoming mythological epic Kannappa. The move comes as a mark of respect for the lives affected by the devastating incident.

On June 12, an Air India flight bound for London crashed while taking off from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with 242 people on board. Rescue operations are ongoing, and reports indicate multiple casualties and several injuries. Kannappa Team Responds with Sensitivity
In light of the tragedy, Manchu Vishnu took to social media to announce the postponement of the trailer launch event, which was originally scheduled for Friday, June 13, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
“In respect of the unfortunate Air India tragedy, we are postponing the trailer launch of Kannappa. Our thoughts are with all those affected,” Vishnu wrote.
The decision was appreciated by fans and the film industry, who praised the team’s sensitivity during a national tragedy. Kannappa, slated to release on June 27, features a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva and Kajal Aggarwal as Parvati.
