Anam Vivekananda Reddy Passes Away!

Senior TDP leader and former AP Minister Anam Vivekananda Reddy passed away today morning. The 67-year-old politician has played a key role in the TDP party. He has been under medical supervision for the past one month. Telugu Bullet also reported that AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu Garu has visited Anam Vivekananda Reddy in the hospital.
After Anam fell sick, he was admitted to a hospital in Nellore. Later he was shifted to KIMS (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences), Secunderabad for better treatment. Born on 25th December 1950, Anam Vivekananda Reddy won in 1999, 2004, and 2009 AP Assembly elections. Though he was offered a place in the AP Cabinet, he has rejected.
Anam was not only a mere politician but was regarded as someone very close to the people of Nellore. His two sons; Anam Chenchu Subba Reddy and Anam Ranga Mayur Reddy are also into politics.
Elder son Subba Reddy contested for AP Assembly as Congress candidate in 2014 election and lost. While the younger son Mayur Reddy is currently serving as a Corporation.
He is known for his unique lifestyle and is often referred as the firebrand of TDP.
