Former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao experienced a hip fracture at his Erravelli farmhouse near Hyderabad on Thursday night. He was promptly admitted to Yashoda Hospitals in the city on Friday.
The injury occurred when KCR slipped in the bathroom. Following the incident, he was swiftly taken to the hospital for examination. The investigation revealed a hairline fracture, and there is a possibility that he may need surgery.
Since the defeat in the recent Telangana Assembly Elections 2023, the former CM has been residing at his Erravalli Farmhouse. He moved out of Pragati Bhavan (now Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan) on the election result day and has been conducting meetings with MLAs and party leaders at his farmhouse.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his concern for KCR’s health and wished him a speedy recovery. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mr. Modi stated, “Distressed to know that former Telangana CM Shri KCR Garu has suffered an injury. I pray for his speedy recovery and good health.”
