Adivi Sesh’s G2, the highly anticipated sequel to the successful spy thriller Goodachari, has been generating curiosity ever since its announcement. The film has been in production for quite some time and recently grabbed attention after actor Rahul Ravindran praised the project.
Meanwhile, an interesting casting detail about the film has come to light. According to Adivi Sesh, the makers initially approached Malavika Mohanan for the role that eventually went to Wamiqa Gabbi. Malavika was considered for the female lead, but she reportedly had to turn down the opportunity due to her existing commitment to another spy thriller, Sardar 2.
Wamiqa Gabbi subsequently came on board and is making her Tollywood debut with G2. Her casting has added another layer of interest to the project, particularly given the film’s large-scale action and spy-thriller setting.
The shooting of G2 is currently nearing completion, with the team working on the remaining portions. Once the production is wrapped up, the makers are expected to reveal the film’s release date along with more details about the project.
With Adivi Sesh returning as the protagonist and the sequel promising a bigger scale, G2 remains one of the most awaited upcoming Telugu spy thrillers.
