The Telugu release of the surprise box-office success Hanuman Ansh appears to be facing uncertainty. The film was earlier scheduled to arrive in Telugu theatres on September 18, 2026, with acclaimed filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas announced as the presenter for the Telugu version.
However, the latest developments have raised questions over the release plans. A Telugu teaser launch event scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on September 15 was reportedly called off, while the teaser itself was not released as announced.
There are also reports that Trivikram Srinivas has withdrawn from presenting the Telugu version following an apparent breakdown in discussions with the team. However, neither Trivikram nor the makers has officially confirmed the development so far. As of now, there has also been no official announcement regarding any postponement of the September 18 release.
Meanwhile, Hanuman Ansh has been enjoying a strong theatrical run. The film has reportedly crossed the Rs 200 crore nett mark in India and has also generated revenue from overseas markets, emerging as an unexpected success.
The film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa as Lakshman Narayan, who later becomes Neem Karoli Baba. Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh continues to attract attention following its impressive box-office performance.
