In a surprising turn of events, the superhero epic “HanuMan” emerged as the dark horse among Sankranthi releases, making history as the highest-grossing Sankranthi movie to date. Directed by Prasanth Varma, the film’s triumph is particularly pronounced in the Nizam region.
After completing an impressive 3-week run in cinemas, “HanuMan Collections” has notched an incredible Rs 62.68 crore in gross revenue across Nizam. The film’s distributor share stands at a staggering Rs 30.65 crore (excluding GST of about Rs 6 crore). This remarkable achievement was accomplished through 15,170 screenings, attracting an audience of 33,37,952 footfalls. With expectations high, the film is anticipated to maintain its commendable performance for at least another week.
The lead roles in this visual spectacle were skillfully portrayed by the talented trio of Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, and Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Producer Niranjan Reddy deserves applause for backing this successful project. As audiences eagerly await the sequel, “Jai Hanuman,” speculations abound about the inclusion of prominent actors from both Tollywood and Bollywood.
