The upcoming Telugu film ‘Happy Journey’ has officially locked its theatrical release date. The women-centric drama is set to hit screens worldwide on September 18, 2026.
Directed by debutant Abhiramm Naidu, the film puts seven women and their individual experiences at the heart of its narrative. Annapurnamma, Amani, Anchor Jhansi, Payal Radhakrishna, Jinisha Alishetty, Roopaa Srinivas and Sunaina headline the project in key roles, while Prudhvi Dandamudi, Wamce and Ravi Siva Teja Paila appear in supporting parts.
Set against the backdrop of international travel, ‘Happy Journey’ explores relationships, emotions and the unexpected connections that develop during a shared journey. The teaser and songs released so far have reportedly received a positive response, adding to the anticipation ahead of its theatrical arrival.
The film is produced by Balaji Gutta and Koushik Reddy under the banners of Gutta Productions and Kamalakar Film Corporation. Shekar Chandra is composing the music, while Manikandan Subramaniyan handles cinematography and Chota K Prasad takes care of the editing.
With its unique premise and predominantly female-led cast, ‘Happy Journey’ is gearing up to offer Telugu audiences a different cinematic experience this September.
