Supreme Court Delays Hearing on MLC Kavitha’s Appeal Against ED Summons:
The Supreme Court provided temporary relief to BRS MLC Kavitha Kalvakuntla on Friday in the case related to irregularities in the Delhi excise policy.
The court postponed its decision on summoning the leader and also delayed the hearing on her plea against the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) summons until September 26.
The Central agency conveyed to the SC that they would not insist on summoning her until the mentioned date.
On Thursday, She confirmed that she had received a notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding the Delhi liquor scam, requesting her presence on Friday.
