Heroine confirmed for Sridevi Biopic

Famous Bollywood director Hansal Mehta made it clear that he would make a film on the life of legendary actress Sridevi Kapoor. Talking to the media, Hansal Mehta said, ‘I am gravely disappointed for not making a film with Sridevi. This feeling will haunt me for life.
In fact, I even prepared an exciting script for Sridevi. Due to few reasons, I was not able to take the movie on to the sets. There can never be another Sridevi on the silver screen’.
Talking on Sridevi biopic, Hansal Mehta made key statements. ‘If I can find an apt actress, I can make a film, and dedicate it to Sridevi. There are few names in my mind. Out of them, I consider Vidya Balan has a strong contender. There is still a long way to go about this project’, concluded Hansal Mehta, speaking to an English Magazine.
Vidya Balan previously reprised the Silk Smitha on the silver screen in the movie ‘Dirty Picture’. The movie turned out to be one of her best films. It is heard that Boney Kapoor is planning for a short film on Sridevi.
