You will find the reason Jackman gave as something ‘unbelievable’, by rejecting the James Bond role. The ‘Logon’ star is presently busy with his next musical drama, “The Greatest Showman”. This movie is set to release on December 20 in the US.

It is an actor’s dream wish, to act in an action-packed movie like ‘007’ James Bond.

In a recent interview with a leading U.S. publication, Jackman reasons his rejecting the role of James Bond, as he felt the scripts have become ‘Crazy’ and ‘Unbelievable’.hugh jackman rejects james bond

He noted, he was about to do ‘X-Men 2’ when his agent called him asking if he’d be interested in Bond role. But the scripts are crazy and unacceptable, I felt there is a need to become grittier and real. And the response was, ‘oh you don’t have any say in it, you just have to sign on’.

His decision to go otherwise was due to his two blockbuster roles. He explained why he cannot commit to two different things at one time. His intention to reject the role is to prove himself as a versatile actor, as half of his life he was worried being pigeon-holed as an actor.

It is here important to note that Daniel Craig will be playing the role of Bond, seemingly his final time in thus far untitled ‘Bond 25’, which is starting its shooting early next year.
