Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is continuing its impressive run at the box office, with the film adding another notable milestone to its growing list of achievements. Since its release, the emotional action drama has been witnessing strong audience support and maintaining solid momentum.
After reportedly becoming the fastest regional film to cross the Rs. 80 crore mark in its opening weekend, without the advantage of ticket price hikes or a major holiday, Irumudi has now achieved another significant feat.
The film has emerged as the highest-footfall Telugu movie of 2026 on its first Sunday. The milestone highlights the strong theatrical response from audiences and reflects the impact of positive word of mouth.
The impressive footfalls also underline the importance of audience-driven momentum at the box office. With viewers responding strongly to the film’s emotional storyline and Ravi Teja’s performance, Irumudi appears to be attracting audiences beyond the initial curiosity surrounding its release.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film blends family emotions with action and drama. Ravi Teja leads the cast, with Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sai Kumar, and Baby Nakshatra playing important roles.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Irumudi features music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.
With another box office milestone added to its account, the film now has its sights set on maintaining the momentum in the coming days. If the strong audience response continues, Irumudi could add several more achievements to its theatrical run.
