Is Jagan showing favoritism towards Reddy’s over Kaapu’s?
Everyone was of an opinion that the row over Goutham Reddy and Vangaveeti Radha ended after YSRCP President YS Jagan suspended Goutham Reddy, who is known to be a close one to Jagan and his family. In factual, it looks like the things have just got worse.
YSRCP did support Mudhragada Padmanabham’s ‘Kaapu Reservation’ movement, which was successful in putting the TDP government under pressure. It was more of a political victory to YSRCP than anyone. And the recent suspension of Goutham Reddy also sent signals of ‘favoritism of Kaapus’ in YSRCP. In reality, things are far different than what they seem.
Jagan made sure that close aides of Goutham Reddy got key positions in the party. When Vangaveeti Radha questioned the same, Jagan simply stated that people who have a strong say and footing in the public would be adorned with key positions. This also sent the waves that, Goutham Reddy is still having a strong hold on the party. This incident turned to be a reality check for Vangaveeti Radha, and now one has to wait and see how tides turn in the coming few days. It is also heard that Radha might well take a sensational decision in haste, which could well cost YSRCP in the Krishna District.
