Jagan Ends East Godavari Tour In Vain

Date:

The YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy managed to complete his ongoing Praja Sankalpa Yatra in the district of East Godavari. More than the merits, he bagged huge demerits which affect his party. The moment Jagan entered West Godavari, the party cadre tried its best to gather people from the nearby towns and villages to appear it grand. Cleverly the leader too selected the constituencies with narrow roads such that the people would appear more than the actual count. Well, the equations changed drastically in the East Godavari. Despite his stunning walk along with many hundreds of YSRCP supporters on the Rail cum Road bridge of Rajahmundry, Jagan failed to gather crowds in and around the city of Rajamahendravaram. In later stages, his rival parties TDP ridiculed his Padha Yatra as fewer people appeared around him.

It all became a flop show the moment he declared his stand on BC Reservations. The huge backlash has been faced by the Yuva that in East Godavari where more number of BCs present in the entire State of AP. His reputation sunk even deeper when the Kadapa MP tried to cover his earlier revelations by claiming that he still supports the reservations by allocating separate funds. Today, he nearly completed 2,600 kilometers by finishing East Godavari District leaving just Uttarandhra in his entire tour. This shows that he has less craze in the Godavari districts compared to other regions of Andhra Pradesh.
