Chandrababu Naidu shocked every political analyst after he criticized Narendra Modi and BJP-led NDA government at the Centre on the Polavaram Project issue. It is a well-known fact that the people of Andhra Pradesh are emotionally bonded to the Polavaram Project. After the Centre started playing tantrums regarding Polavaram Project, the CM lashed out at them.

The biggest shock came after YS Jagan started appreciating the Centre’s move of nulling out present tenders for the construction of Polavaram and calling for a fresh tender. Jagan said, ‘No wonder the Centre has taken this decision. They have realized that Chandrababu Babu wilfully increased the estimates of Polavaram Project for his own benefit.’

Political analysts stated that YS Jagan is looking for an ‘alliance’ with BJP for his own greed and selfish reasons. ‘Jagan has realized that YSRCP will not be coming to power after 2019 elections. He is trying to have an alliance with BJP, which is expected to win the 2019 General elections. Jagan is making these moves so that BJP can help him in coming out of money laundering and other cases.’

A famous philosopher once said, ‘There are no homicides in politics, only suicides exist’. This saying aptly suits YS Jagan more than anyone.
