Director Jason Sanjay has heaped praise on Sundeep Kishan ahead of the release of Sigma. Speaking at the film’s pre-release event in Chennai, Jason described his lead actor as an exceptionally talented performer who deserves greater recognition in the industry.
Making his directorial debut with Sigma, Jason said Sundeep has spent nearly 15 years in the film industry while remaining deeply committed to his craft. He also highlighted the actor’s passion for cinema, stating that films and acting remain at the centre of Sundeep’s attention.
Jason further revealed that he has developed a close, brother-like relationship with Sundeep during the making of the film. He added that Sundeep will always hold a special place in his journey as a filmmaker, as he is the first hero he has directed.
Sigma features Faria Abdullah as the female lead and is gearing up for a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu. With the film marking Jason Sanjay’s entry into direction, there is considerable curiosity surrounding the project and Sundeep Kishan’s performance.
The film’s theatrical outcome will now determine whether Sigma can give Sundeep Kishan the commercial momentum he has been looking for.
