A week ago, Kangana Ranaut took a flight to be home in Manali. The sudden lockdown on film shoots barred her from joining the crew in Hyderabad for the shooting of the multilingual, Thalaivi. Kangana was on a 10-day-schedule break and was about to resume work when the directive to stop work at studios was issued. The actress not only got a chance to spend time with her nephew Prithvi, but also catch up with her parents and siblings, whom she had not met in several weeks because of her on-going shooting schedule.
Today, the actress turned a year older and celebrated the day at home with her parents, sister Rangoli, brother-in-law Ajay Chandel, nephew Prithvi and brother Akshit. The family performed a special Durga pooja at home for the actress’ well-being. She offered prayers to Lord Shiva, dressed in a pink sari and minimal jewellery. Her mother and sister prepared a scrumptious Himachali meal which she enjoyed with all of them at home.
