The Telangana CM KCR is almost a happy man after forming the Government for the second time in a row. Despite having a cool time, he gave himself a work to scrutinize the TRS party and its leaders prior to the Lok Sabha elections.
KCR won with a thumping majority in the snap polls but before the elections, his own party members troubled him by shifting sides. Leaders like Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Mahabubnagar MP Jithender Reddy, and ex-MP Vivek are the game changers according to the KCR’s latest internal survey. To straighten the things up, KCR is now thinking to sack these MPs or replace them with other leaders who are awaiting the ticket. Ponguleti Srinivas irked KCR to the core by supporting the Mahakutami opposing the TRS in a big way. While Jithender is working as a covert for Mahakutami and he indeed helped three of Mahakutami candidates in the happened early elections of Telangana. In reality, TRS leaders feel that Ponguleti can be removed and there will be no damage to the party. But coming to Jithender Reddy, there is no alternative for this strong leader in Peddapali and the fact that the SC reservation seat is playing the trump card for Jitender.
Knowing all these, KCR is now taking extra care on candidates he is selecting for the Lok Sabha polls. The election notifications for the Telangana LS will be out on 18th of March according to the Political experts. As soon as the notification is out, well prepared KCR will release the list of candidates to prepare the voters in advance. These elections are also crucial for KCR to have a hold at the Centre.
