Varun Tej’s latest horror-comedy Korean Kanakaraju has kicked off its theatrical journey on a promising note. The film generated strong pre-release excitement, and its advance bookings reflected the growing anticipation among moviegoers.
The momentum picked up significantly in the final 24 hours before release, with Korean Kanakaraju selling more than 33,000 tickets on BookMyShow alone. Adding to the positive buzz, the paid premiere shows held last night reportedly received encouraging word of mouth, with several screenings witnessing packed houses.
With favorable early reactions pouring in, the film has entered its theatrical run with strong momentum. Industry observers expect Korean Kanakaraju to post healthy occupancy over the opening weekend, especially in the absence of major box office competition.
Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film features Varun Tej in the lead alongside Ritika Nayak, Satya, Muralidhar Goud, Avasarala Srinivas, Chinna, and others in pivotal roles. Produced by UV Creations in association with First Frame Entertainments, Korean Kanakaraju has music composed by Thaman.
