Kuberaa Team Seeks Ticket Price Hike in Andhra Pradesh Ahead of Release

Date:

As the release date for Kuberaa approaches, the buzz surrounding the film continues to build. Starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, and directed by Sekhar Kammula, the much-anticipated social drama is all set for a grand theatrical release this Friday.

The latest update is that the Kuberaa team has requested a ticket price hike in Andhra Pradesh. Reportedly, the producers have submitted a formal application to the Film Chamber, seeking permission to increase ticket prices by ₹50 per ticket. Once the Andhra Pradesh government approves, bookings in the state will officially go live with the revised pricing.

With impressive advance bookings already coming in from the USA, expectations are soaring. If the film opens to positive word of mouth, industry experts predict strong box office numbers through the weekend.

Apart from the lead trio, the ensemble cast includes Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, and Sayaji Shinde in significant roles. The film is jointly produced by Suniel Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sekhar Kammula, while the music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Kuberaa is being positioned not just as a star-studded drama but as a socially relevant narrative with mainstream appeal, and the confidence in its content is reflected in the team’s strategy surrounding pricing and promotions.
