Metro Rail To Be Fully Functional In Two Months

The Hyderabad Metro Rail project works are still going on in very areas. Currently, the metro is only operational in few lines. Talking about the same, Telangana IT Minister KTR said that, the Metro Train will function till LB Nagar within two months.
KTR who came to inaugurate the Chintalkunta Underpass near LB Nagar, along with other minister spoke on the development works undertaken by Hyderabad Metro Rail.
‘CM KCR will inaugurate the LB Nagar metro rail segment in two months from now. At the same time, we will also finish the segment connecting LB Nagar and Nagole. In the future, we will be extending the metro services to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad via Falaknuma’, said KTR.
KTR said that the government is taking measures to overcome the traffic crisis in the city. ‘The groundwork for Express Highway over Musi River is in progress. At the same time, we are also working on improving the water bodies in the city. Out of the 185 lakes, the government has identified 40 lakes. We will soon make them available for recreational purposes, and for other purposes’, concluded KTR.
