LG U Plus has much to offer in terms of technology application and is, therefore, is planning to launch cloud-based VR gaming service with 5G support. It has stated that it will establish VR game experience zones in 50 stores in July and also enhance the number to 90 nationwide by the end of 2019.

LG Uplus Corp. on Tuesday said it will indeed release a Cloud-based VR gaming service with 5G support later in 2019, thus taking advantage of its low-latency 5G network.
The indication is also that the company will launch a wide range of VR games for the purpose of head-mounted displays connected to its 5G network in partnership with other developers.

Efforts will be on to expand the Cloud-based gaming service, which can rather take full  advantage of 5G, and also commercialize the services by the year-end based on customer feedback.
