Lyca To Produce The Mega Budget Film With Surya

Tamil star hero Surya, enjoys a huge fan following in all the South Indian states. While Director KV Anand is hailed for his fearless filmmaking. Surya and KV Anand combination saw films like Ayan (Veedokkade in Telugu) and Maattraan (Brothers in Telugu). Though Ayan saw a commercial success both in Kollywood and Tollywood, Maattraan failed to impress at the box office. But the film was hailed for its unique script and scientific accuracy.
Surya and KV Anand will once again collaborate for the third time. Lyca Productions, which is currently bankrolling India’s most expensive film, 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar will produce Surya – KV Anand movie. The same has been confirmed by the production house through an official statement.Sources close to the production house confirmed that the script work is nearing completion. The movie is likely to go onto sets from this summer.
Meanwhile, Surya is currently shooting for Selva Raghavan’s NGK movie. Lyca Productions is planning to release the Surya – KV Anand movie simultaneously in both Telugu and Tamil at the same time. Surya’s ‘Gang’ flopped at the Telugu box office.
