Thanks to some movies like Baahubali and KGF, the Hindi makers these days are looking up at the Southern movies to either dub or remake in Hindi. After Arjun Reddy, another South Indian love story is going to Bollywood.
The makers of Kabir Khan, the remake of Arjun Reddy have bought the rights of Tamil hit flick Thadam. This flick is directed by Magizh Thirumeni has the hero turned villain Arun Vijay of Bruce Lee fame as the main lead and he portrayed dual roles in this superhit love drama. The flick which released in Kollywood recently earned rave reviews and collections just like Vijay Sethupathi’s 96. There were plans to remake this flick in Telugu but none of the producers dared it. However, the Kabir Singh makers found Thadam interesting and now they are looking forward to bankrolling this flick as time soon.
Meanwhile, the regular shoot of Kabir Singh has been wrapped up and is waiting for a perfect release date. Talented hero Shahid Kapoor is replacing Vijay Devarakonda in the Hindi Arjun Reddy. Hope this flick becomes a blockbuster and lay a platform to remake more South Indian movies in the future.
