Malayalam actor Roshan Mathew’s latest crime investigation thriller, Uyir, has officially arrived on OTT. Directed by Padmakumar M, the film received a mixed response from audiences and critics during its theatrical release.
After its run in cinemas, Uyir is now streaming on JioHotstar. While the original Malayalam version is available on the platform, the makers have also released dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi, making the film accessible to a wider audience across India.
The film stars Roshan Mathew in the lead role alongside Baiju Santhosh, Athulya Chandra, Shruthy Menon, and several others in pivotal roles. Uyir is produced by Santhosh Thrivikraman under the Vow Cinemas banner.
With its digital premiere, all eyes are on whether Uyir can attract a larger audience on OTT and earn a better reception than it received during its theatrical run.
