It is impossible to guess who is a friend and a foe in politics. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee recently met Telangana CM KCR, to talk about the ‘Federal Front’ proposal by KCR. Many thought that TDP too will extend its support to ‘Federal Front’ after it came out of NDA.
But the recent developments in Parliament hinted other ways. TDP has been alleging that TRS MPs (along with AIDMK MPs) are deliberately obstructing the no-confidence motion from being moved in the Parliament. MPs from both the parties exchanged a war of words. In this scenario, many felt that TDP may not move towards Federal Front, at least for the time being.
But given the dynamics of politics, in the latest development, WB CM Mamata Banerjee’s tweet left everyone in shock. In her tweet, she appreciated Chandrababu Naidu, stating that he has been telling the people about facts. ‘The Centre tries to bulldoze the states, and claim as if they have done a favor. This is fake federalism’, she said in her tweet. She also claimed that there are many leaders who spread lies, and it is their habit.Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee’s close association with KCR, and now her support towards Chandrababu has left everyone puzzled.
