With less than a week for the first phase of Karnataka Assembly Elections, the parties are busy criticizing each other. Meanwhile, amidst such tense political situations, the latest development is likely to hurt the BJP chances in the Kannada state.
Former Minister, and BJP key leader in Karnataka, M Mareppa has bid goodbye to BJP and joined his home, Congress Party. Talking to the media, Mareppa mentioned about the impact of AP Special Category Status row on Karnataka Elections.‘The Telugu people living in Karnataka are quite furious over the BJP. The AP Special Category Status issue is surely going to have a major impact on the elections results.
I am really happy with the way Siddharamaiah is running the government. Congress is likely to win 120 seats this time around and form the government single-handedly’, said Mareppa. Mareppa, who is a native of Rayalaseema region previously worked in both Congress and YSRCP. He is often known as the firebrand. But after he joined BJP, he has gone completely numb.
