‘Arabic Kuthu’: First single from Vijay-starrer ‘Beast’ released

The makers of director Nelson’s eagerly-awaited action entertainer, ‘Beast’, featuring actor Vijay in the lead, on Monday released ‘Arabic Kuthu’, the first single of the film.

The song, which has music by Anirudh, has been rendered by Jonita Gandhi and Anirudh.
Lyrics for the catchy number are by actor Sivakarthikeyan. The foot-tapping number took the Internet by storm.

Within just seven minutes of being released on YouTube, the video garnered a whopping 4,51,000 views, with 1,76,000 people giving it the thumbs up.

On Monday, the unit had released a promo for the single. The promo video garnered over 7.5 lakh views in less than half an hour of it being released on YouTube.

Director Nelson, while sharing the video link, tweeted, “‘Arabic Kuthu’ here it is … Thank you Sivakartikeyan for the cool and jolly lyrics. Rock star Anirudh-superb stuff.Super cool Pooja Hegde. Dashing Thalapathy Vijay sir.”

Bollywood superstar Madhuri Dixit is making headlines these days with her digital debut with the web series ‘The Fame Game. The show is all about a successful actress who has all the luxuries but along with this, her life holds a plethora of secrets.

The actress talks about her OTT debut and her love for acting. She recalls her journey as an actress and what keeps her motivating after so many years.

She says: “I think, one never really gets tired of playing different characters. I love to get into the skin of every character I play. And it’s always exciting when you get a role, which has a gamut of emotions to deal with. You know, one that has ups and downs in their life because it’s such characters that challenge you to do better, rise above, and keep you on your toes.”

After winning the hearts of movie buffs and giving a number of hit movies, Madhuri still feels that there is a lot to learn and she is still a student.

“I think for me, I have always been a student of cinema. And whenever I do a project, I try to rediscover or discover something new in a character which I can portray and do better than my previous performance,” she concludes.

‘The Fame Game’ is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, Sri Rao, Dharmatic Entertainment, Bejoy Nambiar, Karishma Kohli are the directors of the series and it features Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Suhasini Muley, Lakshvir Saran, Muskkaan Jaferi and Rajshri Deshpande.

It will be released on February 25 on Netflix.

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the makers of the pan-India film ‘Gurthunda Seethakalam’ released the trailer on Monday. The film’s actress Tamannaah Bhatia says a romantic drama demands one be more empathetic and soft.

Starring alongside Satyadev, the film will narrate the story of finding true love in today’s age and era.

While sharing her excitement, Tamannaah said: “There is a certain charm in the love story, ‘Gurthunda Seethakalam’. It makes you connect to the characters instantly. Working on the film with Satyadev was an incredible experience.

“A romantic drama demands you to be more empathetic and soft, and I had the best time exploring the same nuances as an actor.”

He added: I am really looking forward to the film’s release because I am sure it will resonate with the audience.”

Makers release Valentine’s special glimpse from ‘Radhe Shyam’

The producers of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde-starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ unveiled a romantic video, as a special ‘Valentine Glimpse’ from the movie.

Unveiling the most romantic side of Prabhas and his lady love Pooja Hegde from the movie, the makers wrote, “On the day of love, get a glimpse of this epic love story. Watch now! #RadheShyam in cinemas on March 11.”

The video starts with Prerana (Pooja Hegde) talking to herself that she would never see Vikram (Prabhas) or talk to him again. The extraordinary visuals from the video take us on a romantic trip, as the lead pair is seen having a silent conversation, as they travel in opposite trains.

The video ends where Prerana asks, “You look smart, you are a gentleman, and have all the eligible qualities. But, why aren’t you married?”. Prabhas, who gets confused on how to reply, is seen giving a cute expression.

The background music goes in sync with the amorous chemistry between the lead pair in ‘Radhe Shyam’.

Helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar, ‘Radhe Shyam’ has its release date fixated, which is March 11.

‘Kalaavathi’ song promo from ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ amplifies the buzz

The first single titled ‘Kalaavathi’ from Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh starrer ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ is all set to release on Valentine’s Day, February 14.

On Friday, the makers shared the promo of the first single, in which Mahesh Babu & Keerthy Suresh make a romantic pair. Though the promo of ‘Kalaavathi’ doesn’t last long, it hints at a chartbuster tune, which is to be revealed on the Valentines’.

Mahesh Babu can be seen looking handsome and charming in a white sweatshirt, whereas Keerthy Suresh’s elegant saree look captivates.

The tune composed by Thaman is expected to be an instant hit, as Sid Sriram’s voice adds much hype to the yet-to-be-released song.

The song’s promo starts off with a wedding chant, while the lyrics hint at the devotion a man has, for his lady love. Soulful vocals, appealing visuals, and sparkling chemistry between the lead pair are the highlights from the ‘Kalaavathi’ song promo.

Directed by Parasuram, ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ is jointly produced under the banners GMB Entertainments, Mythri Movie Makers, and 14 Reels Plus.

Ahead of the February 14 Uttarakhand election, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will on Saturday address three rallies in the hill state’s Khatima, Haldwani, and Srinagar.

Sports drama ‘Ghani’, in which actor Varun Tej is essaying the role of a boxer, has cleared its censorship formalities.

Reports suggest that the censor board has given a ‘UA’, as the movie gears up for its release soon.

Helmed by Kiran Korrapati, ‘Ghani’ will probably opt for a sooner release date, from the two options the makers have planned to release the movie.

Earlier, the makers had announced two release dates- February 25 or March 4.

In their statement announcing the same, ‘Ghani’ producers had written, “Depending upon the release schedule of other films, we would like a healthy release for all films. See you in theatres, very very soon”.

News from close sources reveals that the makers have decided to release the movie on February 25.

“Well, keeping the current uncertain situations as a reference, makers will go for the other date only if needed”, the sources said.

Abburi Ravi penned the story for Kiran Korrapati’s debut feature.

‘Ghani’ has its stunts composed by Dhilip Subbarayan and Larnell Stovall.

It features Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead opposite ‘Mukunda’ actor Varun Tej. Actors Upendra, Sunil Shetty, Naveen Chandra will be seen in significant roles.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to her social media handle to share the teaser of the fearless reality show ‘Lock Upp’.

The show will have 16 celebrities on show whose names will be announced officially soon. These contestants will be locked up inside the jail and there will also be a concept of bail in the reality show.

In the teaser, Kangana looks fiery as she walks down in the alley of a lockup. She describes the game rules and takes a dig at all her haters and also points out the nepotism in the industry.

She says that now it is her time to treat the contestants inside the lockup she wants.

Sporting a shiny baton in her hand, Kangana says: “I have faced haters who filed FIRs to me and used nepotism against me. They turned my life into a 24X7 reality show. But now it is my turn. Main laa rahi hoon, the baap of all reality shows. Yahan papa ke paiso se bhi bail nahi milegi.”

Superhit movie ‘Bangarraju’, which had hit the screens in January, is all set to start streaming on the OTT platform soon.

Starring Nagarjuna-Naga Chaitanya, the father-son duo, ‘Bangarraju’ had entertained the audience quite well at the theatres.

Reports suggest that the Kalyan Krishna Kusarala directorial ‘Bangarraju’ will start streaming on Zee5 from February 18.

‘Bangarraju’, the sequel of Nagarjuna’s super hit movie ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, marked the second collaboration of Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya after the Telugu classic movie ‘Manam’.

The fantasy drama is still running successfully in some theaters, while the makers decided to start streaming the movie online.

Actress Ramya Krishnan appears as Nagarjuna’s wife in the movie, while Krithi Shetty plays Naga Chaitanya’s love interest.

Other actors Fariah Abdulla, Daksha appeared in song sequences in ‘Bangarraju’. Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, and Jhansi appear in the supporting roles.
