Sanjay Gagnani on being tagged as a ‘Villainero’ by fans

Actor Sanjay Gagnani, who plays the role of Prithvi in the show “Kundali Bhagya”, is surprised by fans tagging him as “Villainero” on social media.

“The audience of my show has given me a name, which is ‘Villainero’, which stands for Villain Hero,” he tells IANS, adding: “So, a lot of them see me as a villain, a lot of others as a hero and the rest as a villain and a hero.”

“Unlike many other actors I have managed to keep myself from being typecast as of now and l feel blessed that I don’t have to break any kind of image that I’ve created on screen. The credit for that completely goes to my entire team and especially the writers because they have portrayed me in such a manner that only my activities are evil,” shares the actor, whose show airs on Zee TV.

The actor adds: “Honestly, I have no fear of getting typecast because if I could be cast for a villain’s role despite not looking like one, I am confident that any other producer will cast an actor like me who has played a villain, in a hero’s role as well.”

Preity Zinta: I am so proud of our little organic home garden

Pretty Zinta can’t stop gushing about her organic garden in her Friday social media post. On Instagram, the actress shared a video clip of plucking ripe strawberries from her garden.

“I cannot explain how excited I am to see fruits and vegetables grow in our backyard. Mom was with me during the lockdown last year and we planted all sorts of herbs, fruit, and veggies. I am so proud of our little organic home garden. Thank you ma for making this possible,” wrote the actress, sharing her excitement about her vegetable and fruit garden at her Los Angeles home.

Actress Sameera Reddy took to Instagram on Friday to share her weight loss journey with her followers.

Sameera has reduced seven kilos and currently weighs 85 kilos, and she said she abstains from emotional eating and snacking.

“Every Friday now revs me up even more to take responsibility for my fitness and honestly I couldn’t have even lost these 7 kgs without you peeps cheering me on! I hope I am doing the same for you! I still have to get to 75 kgs so I have a goal of another 10 kg and I will get there!” she wrote.

Sharing a few weight loss tricks, the actress added: “I’ve been good with portion control, not emotionally eating and saying NO to snacking but it does help! Aahana Kumra: I miss shoots and morning call times

Actress Aahana Kumra is in a major missing mood. She took to Instagram on Friday to share that she yearns for shoots and much more.

“I miss shoots!! I miss early morning call times! I miss being frozen yogurt! I miss real locations! I miss you Uzbekistan!” wrote Kumra.

She shared pictures in the flashback post from the set of last year’s release “Khuda Haafiz”, where she played the role of an Arab police officer named Tamina Hamid.

Deepshikha Nagpal: Divorce is not a good thing in anyone’s life

Actress Deepshikha Nagpal shared that the scene where her onscreen husband in “Ranju Ki Betiyaan” hands over her divorce papers brought back memories of the time she went through separation in real life.

“The scene has become one of my favorite scenes. I just love the way the scene and dialogues are written. I could connect and relive those moments as I have been through a divorce in my life. Divorce is not a good thing in anyone’s life. It tears you apart,” Deepshikha said.

Drawing a comparison between her reel and real-life divorce, Deepshikha said: “When Lalita (her character on the show) fights for her husband Guddu Ji, I felt that she really does love him very much and she tries to do everything in her power to get him back. In my personal life, I couldn’t have fought, rebel like her. I would have let it go. I was very emotional while shooting these scenes, it is very close to my heart.”

She added: “The story is written and shot so well. I enjoyed playing Lalita’s emotional part. I love doing the emotional scene and I’m so glad that my character is so strong, a go-getter a still had an emotional angle which director and creatives are portraying. And who will know better than me to go through a divorce.”

Radhika Madan opens up on her ‘Feels Like Ishq’ role

Actress Radhika Madan, who will be seen in the upcoming romantic anthology “Feels Like Ishq”, says her character Avni is a modern-day Geet, referring to Kareena Kapoor’s character in the 2007 hit “Jab We Met”.

Radhika essays Avni in director Ruchir Arun’s segment of the anthology, titled “Save The Da(y)te”. she features opposite Amol Parashar.

“I think the best way to describe Avni would be a modern-day Geet. You know, a social media era Geet, a Gen-Z Geet, where you have influencers. And she’s really vibrant. She’s really quirky,” Radhika said.

She added: “She knows how to get things done. She has her own ways. She’s fun and she’s funny. I love her. So, I connected with Avni straightaway, and, yeah, I’m excited to play her.”

“Feels Like Ishq” brings together six directors — Ruchir Arun, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, Anand Tiwari, Danish Aslam, Jaydeep Sarkar, Sachin Kundalkar, and Devrath Sagar.

The anthology stars Kajol Chug, Mihir Ahuja, Simran Jehani, Rohit Saraf, Saba Azad, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Zayn Khan, Neeraj Madhav, Tanya Maniktala, and Skand Thakur in leading roles.

“Feels Like Ishq” will stream on Netflix on July 23.

Vicky Kaushal flaunts his lip-sync skills

Bollywood heartthrob Vicky Kaushal showcased his lip-sync skills on social media on Friday.

Vicky posted a video on the Instagram story, where he was seen driving and singing the Punjabi number “Barood wargi”.

The actor is seen dressed in a black T-shirt and is sporting a black headband. With one image, he wrote: “lyrics”.

On the work front, Vicky will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming biopic on Sam Manekshaw titled “Sam Bahadur”.

Actor Yami Gautam summoned in alleged Forex violation case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has asked Bollywood actor Yami Gautam to record her statement with the agency on July 7 in connection with an alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) case, officials said.

An ED official related to the probe told in an interview: “The agency has summoned Gautam to appear before it on July 7 to record her statement.”

He said that she was summoned as it was found that she had received Rs 1.5 crore in her bank account from foreign countries.

This is the second summon to the actor by the ED.

Gautam had tied the knot with Uri Director Aditya Dhar last month.

Milind Gaba: Nikki Tamboli is savage, I had an amazing experience working with her

Singer Milind Gaba’s gamechanger track “Yaar mod do”, which he created in collaboration with Guru Randhawa, is still a favorite among youth after years.

“The essence of the song ‘Yaar mod do’ is based on true friendship. Hence, people relate to it deeply. Till the time there is friendship in this world, the song will always play. Guru Randhawa has a huge following among the youth and my collaboration with him helped in diversifying the audience,” Gaba told an interview.

His new song “Shanti” has Gaba multitasking as a musician, singer, and lyricist. He stars in the music video, too, with “Big Boss 14” fame Nikki Tamboli who was also recently seen on “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11”.

Gaba informed Nikki Tamboli was always the first choice for his video. “She was the first one to come to my mind to be featured on this track. We approached her and she loved the vibe of the track,” said the singer, who has lent his voice to various Punjabi and Hindi songs. The song track has received over 19 million hits at the last count, since it was dropped on June 21.

Talking about Nikki Tamboli, he added: “She is savage, I had an amazing experience working with her. She is full of enthusiasm and positive energy.”

He met Nikki for the first time for the shooting of the song that went on for almost three days. “On the first day, we both were awkward with each other as we met for the first time. However, while we began our dance practice sessions we started bonding well and had good chemistry, which reflects in the video,” he recalled.

Gaba’s popular songs include “Saddi Dilli”, “Welcome back”, “Malamaal”, “Nazar lag jayegi”, “Zindagi di paudi” and “She doesn’t know”.

Talking about his upcoming tracks, he informed: “There are a few good collaborations and a Bollywood number in the pipeline. There will hopefully be a surprise video from my last album ‘Blessed’.”
