Actress Sara Ali Khan on Thursday posted a behind-the-scenes video of Varun Dhawan dressed as a nurse, from the set of their upcoming film Coolie No. 1.

In the Instagram video, Sara stands next to Varun, who is seated on a chair and getting his wig fixed before a shot. The actor flashes a smile in his nurse avatar.

“Meet Varuna Dhawan, in all her glory,” Sara says, and adds a caption to the video: “Meet the hottest Nurse ever… Varuna Dhawan.”

Meanwhile, Varun took to Instagram Stories to say he is thrilled with the response the film’s songs Husn hai suhaana and Mummy Kasam have got so far. He has posted videos made by fans while dancing to these foot-tapping numbers.

Coolie No.1, which releases on Christmas, is directed by David Dhawan. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Johnny Lever.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar mimicked wife Twinkle Khanna’s pose in a picture she posted on social media, and she had a hilarious comeback for him in response.

A black and white picture Twinkle posted on Instagram has her posing in a cold shoulder top. In the same frame, Akshay pulls down his shirt from one shoulder to strike a similar pose.

“Making fun of each other as we go along. Dude, after this you are really going to get a cold shoulder in more ways than one:) #YouMakeMyHeartHumAHappySongSometimes,” she wrote alongside the image.

This is not the first time Twinkle has posted a funny post about her husband. She keeps sharing hilarious anecdotes from her life featuring her children and husband for fans on social media.

Akshay and Twinkle got married in 2001. The couple has two children — son Aarav, who was born in 2002, and daughter Nitara, who was born in 2012.

Adah Sharma happy with response to her transgender act in web series

Actress Adah Sharma is happy with the response she has been getting for her portrayal of a transgender in the recently-released web series, Pati Patni Aur Panga.

“I’m so glad so many people are watching ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’! It feels great when the audience appreciates your work. They can watch it in Telugu, Tamil Punjabi and Bengali as well because it is dubbed in all these languages,” she informed.

The web series directed by Abir Sengupta also features Naveen Kasturia, Hiten Tejwani, Gurpreet Saini, and Alka Amin among others.

Adah is currently gearing up for the second season of the show, as well as the upcoming action film Commando 4.

“I love the action genre and I’m fortunate that directors are offering me really cool stuff! I’m getting to do action, romance, comedy, drama. What more can an actor ask for?” smiled Adah.

Time has come to change fate of TN: Rajinikanth

Time has come to change the fate of Tamil Nadu, while political and government change in the state is important and compulsion of time, said actor Rajinikanth on Thursday.

The actor sounded his poll bugle against the ruling AIADMK government as well as against the major opposition party DMK.

Rajinikanth said he would float his political party in January 2021 and an announcement in that regard will be made on December 31, 2020.

Speaking to reporters here, Rajinikanth said: “The time has come to change the fate of Tamil Nadu. Political and government change in the state is important. It will surely change. Political change is important and is compulsion of time. If not now, it is not possible ever. Everything has to be changed. We will change everything.” He appealed to all to support him to bring in the change.

“I am just a small instrument in the change. If I win then it is people’s victory,” he added.

He said that in 2017 he had announced his decision to enter politics and contest in all the 234 Assembly seats.

According to him, though doctors had advised against holding rallies, if his life goes for the benefit of people then he is not worried about it. Rajinikanth also said 40 percent shooting is pending for his movie Annaatthe which he will complete.

Bollywood drugs probe: 2 NCB officials suspended

In a major embarrassment, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has suspended two officials from their Mumbai Zonal Unit for an alleged suspicious role which enabled two accused get relief in the ongoing Bollywood-drugs mafia investigations, official sources said here on Thursday.

The role of the two investigating officials — whose identities are not disclosed — came under a cloud after two accused Harsh Limbachiya and Karishma Prakash got bail and interim bail, respectively, in November, official requesting anonymity told IANS.

Limbachiya is the husband of high-profile television personality Bharti Singh while Karishma Prakash is the manager of leading Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.

Both — Limbachiya and Karishma Prakash — had their premises raided by NCB teams last month and certain quantities of drugs recovered in the actions.

While Bharti and Limbachiya were arrested and later got bail, Karishma Prakash had ignored NCB summons to join the probe and later secured an interim bail — and in both the developments, the alleged role of the two IOs is now under the scanner.

The NCB move follows the preliminary report of an internal probe ordered by the Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, and the suspensions precede a full departmental inquiry in which the possible involvement of some others, including lawyers, could also come up, indicated the official.
