Vicky Kaushal’s latest photo draws hilarious comment from brother Sunny

Bollywood heartthrob Vicky Kaushal shared a photograph of himself “prepping in the dark”. However, this time it was not the picture that grabbed the attention of fans but a hilarious comment by his actor-brother Sunny Kaushal.

Vicky took to Instagram, where he shared a picture of himself. In the image, the actor’s silhouette can be seen as he stands next to a window.

“Prep in the dark, till it’s your time to shine,” he captioned the image, which currently has over 794k likes on the photo-sharing website.

To this Sunny wrote: “Ab sab fans belonged ‘Sunny is such a good photographer’ Thanks guys (Now fans would say ‘Sunny is such a good photographer. Thanks, guys.”

His comment currently has over 4510 likes.

This is not the first time Sunny has made a hilarious comment on his brother Vicky’s picture.

In April, amid lockdown, Vicky took to Instagram, where he shared a photograph of himself smiling at the camera while lying in what seems like a couch. He captioned the image with a couch and a potato emoji.

Sunny that time commented: “Uth Ja!! Mummy bol rahi hai pankhe saaf ho Gaye, ab dusting Karni hai… (Get up! Mummy says the fans are clean, so get going with the dusting now.)”

On the work front, Vicky will be seen in “Piku” maker Shoojit Sircar’s “Sardar Udham Singh” next. The film is slated to release in January 2021 as of now.

He will also be seen playing Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw is a biographical drama directed by Meghna Gulzar.

Recently, it was revealed that Keerthy Suresh is going to play the leading lady in Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaaru Vaari Paata. The actress revealed this news while a live show on Instagram.

As per the latest update, another actress is going to be part of the film to play a key role. Actress Nivetha Thomas is said to have been approached to play a vital role. There is no official confirmation yet but the grapevine suggests that this Kerala beauty has heard the narration and is yet to sign the dotted line.

Nivetha is basking on the success of her last film Darbar, in which she played the daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth. She is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming film V in which she has paired up with Sudheer Babu. This film is directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna and is a thriller.

The actress has recently completed four years in Telugu film industry and has thanked all her Telugu fans for showering love on her. Sarkaaru Vaari Pata is going to be directed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame.

Sources claim that the plot of the film revolves around the financial frauds in the banking sector. While SS Thaman has been roped in to compose the music, PS Vinod will be cranking the camera and Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.

Jacqueline Fernandez is the latest Bollywood star who has come forward to promote late Sushant Singh Rajputs last release, the upcoming “Dil Bechara”, after Rajkummar Rao, Kartik Aaryan and Shraddha Kapoor pitched in to do so.

Jacqueline, who worked with Sushant in “Drive”, the actor’s last-released film that went straight to OTT, shared a poster of “Dil Bechara” on Instagram and shared: “He’s going has left a void, everywhere and with everyone.. he taught me to ALWAYS be there for people, whenever I was down or confused, he never hesitated to help.. watching his film is not going to be easy for me but I know he’s going to light up the screen so beautifully and that will give me some peace.”

Sharing a message for the film’s director Mukesh Chhabra and actress Sanjana Sanghi, Jacqueline further wrote: “@castingchhabra I know how close you were to Sushant, pls stay strong @sanjanasanghi96 all the best for your debut, you had an amazing first co-star and I’m sure he would’ve been proud of the performance you’ve given. #dilbechara @foxstarhindi @disneyplushotstar 24th July #countdowntodilbechara.”

Meanwhile, netizens continue to express their disappointment with the decision to release “Dil Bechara” on an OTT platform as they had been yearning for a theatrical release.

Replying to netizens’ demand for theatrical release, Sanjana shared in an Instagram post: “Let’s make this a time to celebrate a legendary life, a film? A time to give a tribute, to embrace these extremely challenging circumstances we all are in. And not a time to revolt, asking for something that in our present reality cannot be made possible. Blockbuster banani hai, toh apke Pyaar se hi ban jayegi! Chiyaan Vikram was last seen in Kadaram Kondan, which received a lukewarm response at the box office. The actor recently joined hands with director Ajay Gnanamuthu for his upcoming film, Cobra.The makers will release the first single, Thumbi Thullal, on June 29 at 5 pm.

Thumbi Thullal, composed by AR Rahman, is a romantic track featuring Chiyaan Vikram and Srinidhi Shetty of KGF  Chapter 1 fame. Looking at the posters, it seems, the song will play during the engagement of Vikram and Srinidhi’s characters.

The single-announcement poster bears the words, “Two hearts are getting engaged and promising to be in love forever ,” with the caricatures of Vikram and Srinidhi Shetty.

The team of Cobra was shooting important sequences in Russia in March. However, they were forced to return to India because of the coronavirus lockdown. Director Ajay Gnanamuthu said that the rest of the film has to be completed in Russia.

In Cobra, Chiyaan Vikram will be seen in more than seven getups. The thriller flick also marks former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan’s debut as a villain. Cobra also features KS Ravikumar, Kanika, John Vijay and others in supporting roles.

Sushant Singh Rajput Foundation to support young talents

Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14. He was 34 years old. After 13 days of his death, the late actor’s family has released a statement, remembering him as the free-spirited, talkative and incredibly bright person.

The family also announced that they will set up Sushant Singh Rajput Foundation (SSRF) to support young talents. They will also turn Sushant’s Patna home, where he was born and bought up, into his memorial.

The statement read, “The world’s Sushant Singh Rajput was simply Gulshan to us. He was free-spirited, talkative and incredibly bright. He was curious about just everything. He dreamed without restraint, and chased those dreams with the heart of a lion. He smiled generously. He was the pride and inspiration of the family.”

It went on to say, “His telescope was his most prized possession, through which he fondly gazed at the stars. We can’t bring ourselves to accept that we wouldn’t get to hear his easy laughs anymore. That we wouldn’t see his sparkling eyes again. That we wouldn’t hear his endless rants about science again. His loss has created a permanent, glaring void in the family that will never be filled.”

Announcing the foundation, the statement read, “He truly loved and cherished every single one of his fans. We thank you all for showering our Gulshan with so much love. To honour his memory and legacy, the family has decided to set up Sushant Singh Rajput Foundation (SSRF) to support young talents in areas close to his heart- cinema, science and sports.”

It further read, “His childhood home in Rajiv Nagar, Patna will be turned into a memorial. We will put his personal memorabilia and belongings there, that include thousands of books, his telescope, flight-simulator etc, for his fans and admirers. From now on, we intend to maintain his Instagram, Twitter and Facebook page as legacy accounts to keep his memories alive. We once again thank you all for the thoughts and prayers.Sushant’s family.”

Earlier, Sushant’s family organised a prayer meet for him at his house in Patna, Bihar. Sushant’s death has triggered a raging debate about the film industry’s treatment of young actors from outside.

Actor Ali Fazal has found an uncanny coincidence his two uncles share with the web series “Mirzapur”, in which he stars,

Ali took to Instagram, where he posted two throwback images of himself along with his uncles, named Babloo and Guddu — which were also the names of the characters essayed by Ali and actor Vikrant Massey in the series.

He wrote: “Pic 1 – Bade Mamu, Babloo, Pic 2 – Chhote Mamu – Guddu… Sister love! ( yes, its the weirdest coincidence that the two brothers pet names are the same as Mirza) Yes, that’s me in both pics. Don’t laugh.”

“Mirzapur” revolves around drugs, guns, and lawlessness in smalltown Uttar Pradesh. It depicts the rule of local mafia and gang rivalry. Ali played the role of Guddu Pandit, who joins forces with the local don Kaleen bhaiyya, and slowly witnesses his life change dramatically. The second season of the series is slated to be out soon.

Ali is set to host a webinar with educationist Nargish Khambatta, who taught him at Doon School years ago, for young adults to discuss their productivity during the lockdown.

In the webinar, Ali will talk of his own life journey, time in lockdown, and how he is charting the way ahead.

Ekta Kapoor resumes ‘Naagin 4’ shoot post lockdown

Producer Ekta Kapoor has resumed shooting for her daily soap “Naagin 4” as the lockdown opens up.

Ekta shared a few pictures from the set of the daily soap on her Instagram story and wrote: “And it begins! #Shootstarts #Unlock1 #shootmode.’

From the pictures shared by Ekta, the crew can be seen wearing masks, gloves, and headgears. The actors stand at a considerable gap as they deliver dialogues and wear masks while rehearsing lines in between shots.

The photographs also reveal thermal scanning is being done to every cast and crew member before entering the set. Makeup artists and hairstylists can be seen wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).

The actors associated with the daily soap are also super excited to resume the shoot.

“Feels so good to be back at the set and most important shooting. With the utmost amount of safety. #SafetyFirst #Naagin4 @BTL_Balaji @MuktaDhond @ektarkapoor,” Rashami Desai tweeted on Saturday afternoon.

Her co-star Nia Sharma shared a photo of herself in her vanity van. “Cut to- 3 months later… back to set, my Vanityyyyyyyyyyyyy!! #naagin4 Jaan haveli pe lekar (risking my life),” Nia wrote on Instagram.

The property dispute between legendary and late filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao’s sons has hit the headlines yet again. In a fresh row, Dasari’s elder son Prabhu has alleged that Arun Kumar has attacked them at their residence on June 24th mid-night.

As evidence, Prabhu released the CCTV footage of Arun Kumar jumping the entrance gate of Prabhu’s residence. After storming into the home, Arun reportedly man-handled Prabhu’s wife and father-in-law and even threatened them.

Based on the CCTV footage, Prabhu approached the Jubilee Hills Police station and lodged a complaint. Speaking to the media Prabhu claimed that the residence in which he is currently is staying is written on her daughter’s name by his father Dasari and so he has all the rights to stay in it.

Prabhu also added that he approached Dr. Mohan Babu, producer C Kalyan and actor Murali Mohan on this issue but they did not respond. He requested at least Mohan Babu to intervene in this and solve it at the earliest.
