Mega Star Chiranjeevi who has watched Varun Tej’s latest outing Tholi Prema seems to have been stunned by the magnificent direction of the debutant Venky Atluri.

Getting into the details, in the Thank You meet held by the team of Tholi Prema a while before, Varun Tej has disclosed an interesting conversation between him and megastar Chiru. After watching the film, Chiru was surprised by the way director has dealt the movie. He even expressed his doubt to Varun that is Venky really a debutant director. In fact, this was really a huge compliment from Chiru for this upcoming director. In this Thank You meet function, Dil Raju has also shared his thoughts regarding this film which has drawn the attention of everyone. Dil Raju stated that he was very much surprised by the performance of Rashi Khanna. He mentioned that earlier he felt like Rashi Khanna might not be apt for this role keeping her recent films in mind. But to much of his surprise, she has given her career best performance in this film.

Tholi Prema is one of the finest love stories with rich content in the recent times. This film has garnered a stupendous response to the content as well as the lead cast performance. Varun and Rashi Khanna have nailed the characters of Aditya and Varsha. This film is continuing its dream run in both the domestic box office and the overseas.

Natural Star Nani is making his debut into the production with the experimental film Awe.

This film has garnered the acclaim of the audience with an intriguing teaser and trailer. Touted to be a thriller, this film has Kajal, Nithya Menon, Regina Cassandra, Priyadarshi, Srini Avasarala, Eesha Rebba in the lead roles. Nani has given his voice over to a fish and Ravi Teja to Bonsai plant in the film.

The entire unit has intensified the promotions as the film is inching closer to the release date. As a part of the promotions, Kajal has disclosed some interesting facts about Nani as a producer. She openly declared that Nani is one of the best and cool producers she has worked with. Though she hasn’t done a film with Nani, she went on to mention that she and Nani have a similar mindset and she came to know that on the sets of Awe. She also stated that Nani’s guts have to appreciate for backing up such an experimental film as his debut in the production.

Nani too responding to her comments stated that it’s indeed true and though they haven’t shared the screen ever before, they seem to have a similar mindset. In fact, Nani also revealed that when he met Kajal on the first day, she has allocated 5 days of her call sheets to this film.

Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, and Eesha Rebba have also participated in the interview. Prasanth Varma is making his debut as a director with this film and Nani is bankrolling this project under the banner Wall Poster Cinema.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ has turned out to be the biggest disaster in Pawan Kalyan’s, and as well as Trivikram career. After doing a pre-release business close to Rs 150 crores, the film failed to even collect half the amount during its theatrical run. Meanwhile, the producer, S Radhakrishna is in safe hands, as he signed a non-recovery agreement with the buyers.

Understanding that trust and goodwill are most important to establish as a star producer, S Radhakrishna came forward to partially refund the money for the buyers. Even Trivikram gave a good chunk of his remuneration.

Reportedly, a US buyer who bought Agnyaathavaasi for Rs 10 crores, was offered Rs 1-2 crores by the producer. The buyer is facing losses to the tune of Rs 5-6 crores, despite the compensation. It is heard that the buyer is continuously persuading director Trivikram and producer S Radhakrishna to help him get a Janasena Party ticket to contest in the upcoming 2019 Assembly elections. Though these still rumours, there is every reason for them to be true.

With Janasena projected to win at least 15 seats, and the lack of competition for the party’s ticket, the buyer might have a good chance of contesting on behalf of Janasena in the upcoming elections. One has to wait and see whether Pawan Kalyan, who speaks about his uprightness, will succumb to Trivikram’s and Radhakrishna’s pressure over this.

The Telugu film industry has seen the best of the beauties right from the past few decades. But very few of them attained the status of ‘lady superstar’. What does ‘lady superstar’ in the first place mean? In most of the cases, it is the hero who brings in large crowds to the theatres. But few heroines like Vijayashanti, Soundarya, and recently Anushka has the capability to draw crowds, despite the films being heroine-oriented.

Excluding Anushka, there is no other heroine was able to pull crowds to their, given her sheer screen-presence. Be it ‘Arundhati’ or the latest ‘Bhaagamathie’, Anushka stole the show. It looks like we have another competitor in the ‘lady superstar’ league.

She is currently busy shooting for various big-budget projects both in Telugu and Tamil.

‘Chalo’ is the biggest hit in Naga Shourya’s career. After being rejected by multiple heroes, director Venky Kudumula finally approached Naga Shourya and narrated the script. Initially, both the director and hero went in search of a producer. After a couple of standoffish incidents, Naga Shourya, who liked the was really impressed with the script, came forward to produce the film on his own banner.

The saying, ‘Luck favours the brave’ aptly came true in the case of Naga Shourya. Though the young and handsome hero did complain about the film’s budget going overboard, the director did not disappoint him. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan gave his word to Mythri Movie Makers that he would do one last movie with them. A young Filmmaker was considered to direct the movie. But this project has been shelved if the latest reports are true.

It is understood until sometime back, Pawan Kalyan Considered the thought of finishing up a movie in a span of few months before he can completely shift to politics. But that idea failed as there was a risk of diluting the seriousness in approach to politics. Even the inside team of Janasena had advised him to stay off from films for a while, at least till the next year elections complete.

 Unfortunately, Mythri Movie Makers have already paid huge amounts in advance to the power star. The top production house is asked to hold on for at least another two years to take their project on the floors.

Now, the big question is whether Mythri Movie Makers can wait for such a long time? Who will bear the losses for the lost time? And now importantly close sources reveal that there is a high possibility of Pawan Kalyan taking permanent retirement as an actor. Which in itself means, ‘Agnathavasi’ can be the last movie for Pawan Kalyan.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s recent release Agnyathavaasi has come amid huge expectations and has ended up as one of the biggest disasters at the box office.

Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram combination has fetched an unimaginable hype and craze on the film which in turn has done a staggering 125 crores pre-release business. Touted to be the Pawan’s last film, Agnyathavaasi has recorded mind-boggling first-day gross figures but the poor content of the film has led to the disastrous result.

Though this film was released in the Pongal season, due to the poor content and bad execution it has bit the dust at the B.O. Agnayathavaasi has managed to collect 94.6 Crores gross and 57.5 Crores share by the end of its run at the ticket window. It has collected 40.9 Crores share only in A.P and Telangana. The distributors, especially of the Telugu states, have seen a major loss.

Though the figures seem to be somewhat okay, when compared to the staggering pre-release business it has just recovered the 46% of the investment. Pawan Kalyan’s stupendous stardom is the prime reason for even getting those figures. Agnyathavaasi has recorded the third biggest disaster after Mahesh Babu’s Spyder and Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet.
