Acclaimed and versatile director Vikram Kumar directorial ‘Hello’, starring Akhil Akkineni fared decently well at the box office. The movie failed to impress the Telugu audience, especially in the Telugu states. Though this is not seen as a backlog for the director, it is definitely not the kind of films one would expect from someone like Vikram Kumar.

His movies 13B, 24 and Manam had a great run at the box office. A recent news about the about the director is going viral on social networking sites. According to Bollywood sources, action hero Akshay Kumar asked the Vikram Kumar to come up with a script. Keeping Akshay Kumar’s stardom and market in mind, the director drafted an action script and narrated to the Bollywood star hero.

The actor also gave his nod of the movie. If everything goes well according to the plan, the film will go onto sets in June. Vikram Kumar previously directed the Bollywood movie 13B, starring Madhavan in lead role.

Lately, rumours surfaced hero Nani rejected the script narrated by Vikram Kumar. It will be interesting to see, whether the director’s film with Akshay Kumar will also remain as a rumour, or materialize!

Bellamkonda Srinivas had a good start to his career with this movie ‘Alludu Seenu’. The movie is fared decently well at the box office, given the fact that, it is the debut movie of the hero. Post that, his films Speedunnodu and Jaya Janaki Nayaka failed to have a good run at the box office.

Despite a couple of failures, the young actor is once again coming up with the movie ‘Sakshyam’. The shooting is currently in full swing and is likely to be completed by the end of March. According to the latest reports, the producer’s son has signed on a new film.

Debutant director Srinivas will be helming the upcoming movie, and Vamsadhara Creations will be bankrolling the project. It is understood that Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is playing the baddie in Prabhas’ Sahoo movie, will also be the baddie against Bellamkonda Srinivas.

Given the Bollywood actor’s national recognition, the makers hope it could promote the film in other languages. Currently, pre-production and casting works are underway. The regular shooting of the film is likely to commence in a couple of weeks time from now.

However, the B and C centers didn’t like this remake of Tamil hit flick Naadodigal. After all these years, the talented director Samuthirakani has started canning sequel for Naadodigal in Tamil. Sources say that he also approached Ravi Teja to shoot the Telugu version in parallel to Tamil. Looking at the result of the first part, Ravi Teja is not confident to say yes but at the same time, he wanted to do character-driven flicks. On a lighter note, all his content driven flicks like Naa Autograph and many others became flops. The audience accepts him only in mass roles thereby justifying his title Mass Maharaj. He might take time and reveal his final answer regarding this project. However, Samudrakani is not at all bothered because he can make Tamil version for sure and dub it in Telugu to make minimum money.

Ravi Teja is yet to start the regular shooting of his next under the director Srinu Vaitla which is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Apart from this flick, he is working under the sensible director Kalyan Krishna. Another flick Amar, Akbar, Antony is also in the pre-production stages.
