The two young mega heroes are clashing swords at each other in the rather healthy competitive way on the coming Friday. Let us have a brief look at this clash.

Normally, it is believed that the mass entertainers have their own advantage compared to class flicks. But then the changed trend in Tollywood also shows many class flicks ended up being hits provided with the right content. The same can be applicable to this mega clash. As SDT is coming up with his mass entertainer ‘Intelligent’, Varun is competing with his classy love story ‘Tholi Prema’. Both flicks have their own merits and demerits if we go in deep. Intelligent is leading in terms of its mass elements under the blockbuster director V.V Vinayak compared to Tholi Prema. But the form of Sai Dharam Tej is low whereas Varun just scored a blockbuster like ‘Fidaa’. Incidentally, both the movies are scored by S.S Thaman but he has shown a huge variation between these two. So Tholi Prema dominates in music comparatively than Intelligent. Collections might be high on the first day for Intelligent for being a mass entertainer whereas Tholi Prema might end up collecting more than Intelligent if the feel in theatrical trailer carries in the whole film. Also the director Vinayak obviously has the upper hand compared to the debutant Venky Atluri. All in all, no one can predict the winner between these two films in Friday’s clash. But the mega fans equally love both these flicks as Intelligent has Pawan’s disciple and Tholi Prema title itself is the name of Pawan Kalyan’s cult classic.

Intelligent is directed by Vinayak and bankrolled by C.Kalyan. Lavanya Tripathi is the lead actress. Whereas Tholi Prema is directed by Venky and produced by BVSN Prasad. Rashi Khanna is romancing Varun for the first time. These two movies are clashing with each other on 9th February.

The most awaited flick of the mega power star Ram Charan and Sukumar’s combo Rangasthalam is making the mega fans worry as the regular shoot has not yet wrapped up. For those fans, here is a delighting piece of news to make the day.

Since the last March, the shooting of Rangasthalam saw many delays and postponements due to many reasons. Finally, the makers fixed 31st of March as the official release date. To meet the deadline, the makers have fastened up the work. Latest update from Sukumar’s camp reveals that the regular shoot and some patchwork regarding some reshoot have wrapped up except for one song. This song is said to be a special number which is quite common in Sukumar’s flick. The makers opted the sultry siren Pooja Hegde to romance Charan in this special song to call it a complete wrap. Sources confirmed that this song which goes like Jil Jil Rani Jigale Rani composed by the rockstar DSP will be an eye feast for all the mega fans as the steps composed by Jani Master will mesmerize all.

This song will get canned from the next week in a specially erected set at Ramoji Film City. After completing this song in three days, the post-production works will begin at a rapid pace. The team has got just 2 months from now in order to complete all the formalities. For now, the teaser has just raised the expectations to sky high and all are curiously waiting for the audio and theatrical trailer. This movie has been shot at the exotic locales of Godavari region around the river city of Rajahmundry for the authentic look. Ratnavel’s photography is going to be the highlight of this project.

Directed by creative maker Sukumar, this movie is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers with a high budget. Samantha is the female lead and Jagapathi Babu portrayed a crucial character. The village drama is scheduled to hit the silver screen on 31st March across the two Telugu states.

So this banner has okayed a youthful love entertainer under a debutant. This particular young maker made it sure that he wants only Vijay as his hero. Within no time, Mythri Movie Makers contacted Vijay, narrated the script and signed the contract. Adding more intensity, the makers roped Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna of ‘Kirik party’ fame as the female lead.

Already this beauty is romancing Vijay in one of his ongoing flicks under the sensible director Parasuram of ‘Srirasthu Subhamasthu’ fame. Now they are romancing once again for this untitled flick. This movie’s regular shoot gets commenced in the next month once Vijay completes his current projects. Vijay is said to be in good relationship with Rashmika as he recently attended one of her Kannada flick’s audio function. Not many know that Vijay did his graduation in Bellary and can speak Kannada fluently. This made him more close to Kannada people and this particular movie of Mythri Movie Makers might get released in Kannada as a dubbed version. More details of this flick will be revealed soon.

Vijay has three projects in his hand. A flick titled ‘Taxi Wala’ under a debutant got wrapped up and is finding a release date nearby. Parasuram’s flick under the reputed production house Geetha Arts is also nearing its end. For sure Vijay will have a minimum of three releases this year.

The super sensational combination of Tollywood Pawan, Trivikram, and Nithin who has been associated with a film has got an important update.

This film which is currently commencing it’s regular has got a hype beyond imagination is only due to the sensational combination of Pawan and Trivikram. For the first time ever, Pawan and Trivikram jointly are producing this film along with Sudhakar Reddy. Touted to be a romantic entertainer this film is tentatively titled Vachinda Seethakalam. Being Nithin’s silver jubilee flick, this young hero is expecting a blockbuster in this combo.

Nithin on his microblogging site Twitter, just a while back has disclosed the first look, teaser and theatrical release dates of this film. The first look poster of the film will be unveiled on February 12. The teaser of the film will be released on February 14th on the occasion of the Valentines Day. This film will make its grand entry into the theatres on April 5th.

Megha Akash of Lie fame is once again romancing Nithin in this film. S.S Thaman scores the music and lyricist turned director Krishna Chaitanya wields the megaphone.

Director Teja could successfully materialize his next movie with senior hero Victory Venkatesh. After the release of his film ‘Nene Raju Nene Manthri”, he took up two projects. One is with Balakrishna for NTR’s biopic and the other one is with Venkatesh. The Project with Venkatesh has officially launched about two months ago. But the film is yet to go on to sets. The major reason we hear is ‘heroine’.

Teja is finding hard to find a suitable heroine to play the female lead opposite Venkatesh.  Names like Aditi Rao Hydari, Kajal Agarwal, Nithya Menon, Nivetha Thomas etc, were approached for the role. But all of them rejected to do the film. It is understood that no heroine want to risk her career by accepting the role of a mother to Venkatesh’s two children.

Actually, the actress is very cautious before any decision they make and they are wary of playing such ‘middle aged’ characters. Hence there is a lot of delay in film’s shoot due to the process of finding a mother heroine.

Looks like the makers are in no hurry and looks determined to rope in a popular actress even if there is a delay. Apparently, NTR biopic may also get affected as director Teja is the director of both the films.

Nani is the most happening and prominent face in Tollywood at present. After seven back to back hits, there is not an inkling of doubt about his call sheets be unavailable for the next couple of years. He strikes deals with all the top production houses of Tollywood. His track record shows he is very eager to wrap up almost three films in a year.

In fact, most of the Production houses want to work with Nani, given his craze and his ability to bring in minimum profits. But he recently gave shocker to Mythri Movie Makers with his quote. He signed their next film under the direction of Kishore Tirumala.

Nani charged Rs.5 crores for MCA, and with the film becoming a huge hit, the makers estimated he would hike his fee to a maximum of Rs. 7 crores. But to their utter amazement, Nani’s remuneration went up to Rs. 9 Crores for the film. It is of course not a big deal for a big banner like Mythri movie makers to offer such a price, but keeping in mind the business standards and taking the worst case in terms of the result, the project may not be that fruitful for the makers.

Inside film industry gossips are making rounds that if Nani charges such an amount, he would miss many good opportunities. Filmmakers might start looking for another hero if Nani continues to demand such whopping remuneration. Let’s wait and see, how far Nani can go ahead.

Veteran actor, Mohan Babu is all over the news once again. His upcoming film ‘Gayathri’ is slated to release on February 9th. Talking to a news channel, he came up with many interesting aspects about his life.

He is known for being a strict disciplinarian among the Telugu Cinema circles. Many times, he himself accepted that he cannot control his anger if people cross their line in front of him. When asked about his sons, being dragged into the recent drug peddling case, the actor and family maintained their dignified silence. But he talked about it in the interview. He said, “When people start pointing fingers at them and alleged his son’s involvement in a drugs case, I called them into my room and asked them”.

Further continuing, he said, “If they got involved in such a case, I would myself have asked them to surrender to police and took strict action that they do not repeat such misbehaviour again. Personally, I am disturbed that such malicious things have entered into our film industry. Fortunately, my sons stayed out of it owing to all the qualities that we imbibed into them as parents”.

Speaking about his film Gayathri, he said he worked very hard. He also is a part of three fights sequences. He took it as a challenge after his son Vishnu teased him that he can do only one fight.

Nandamuri Balakrishna has been quite busy with back-to-back film shooting in the past few months. After the competition of Paisa Vasool shooting, he immediately started the Jai Simha shooting the very next day. Given his age (57), the actor suffered minor injury to his right shoulder. The extreme working condition did substantial damage to the hero’s right shoulder. In fact, this forced him to undergo a minor shoulder surgery. Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is currently working on the ‘NTR’ film had undergone the minor should surgery in Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad.

The Nandamuri hero was discharged today morning, post his speedy recovery from the surgery. The doctors advised the Balakrishna to take a break from shooting any action sequences for the next few weeks accordingly. Moreover, the doctors advised him to take complete rest for 1 week.

Close sources to the hero-turned-politician confirmed that ‘NTR movie shooting will begin in August 2018, and meanwhile, Balakrishna would be busy with his political engagements. Balakrishna’s Sankranti release, ‘Jai Simha’ collected 50 crores at the box office and emerged as a hit.

Pan India star Prabhas is working restlessly for his ongoing flick Saaho. This flick which is being made as a bilingual is getting delayed due to a primary reason. A close source from this project explains everything.

Already Saaho which is announced for this Summer has officially postponed to October. Now it came to know that the flick will move to next year due to heavy graphics work. The maker Sujeet in order to match up the expectations and to be on par with international cinema has designed huge episodes. Under the supervision of Hollywood stuntman Kenny Bates, a 20 plus minutes action chase sequence is under production in Abu Dhabi. Also, the movie has 30 minutes of VFX Works and it takes almost four months in the post-production. All in all the movie will be out for 2019 Sankranthi.

Meanwhile, the unit will finish Abuu Dhabi schedule and move to the USA. The makers are in talks with Big visual studios for making VFX works. The director Sujeeth is also looking forward to beating Hollywood flicks with Saaho. In order to satisfy Prabhas fans, he assures a blockbuster despite the delay.

This movie is bankrolled by UV Creations with almost 150 crores of the budget. Shraddha Kapoor is the female lead. Neil Nithin is the main antagonist. Shankar Eshaan Loy is scoring music and bank ground score for this work.

Mohan Babu when asked about the most controversial Nandi Awards of 2014, 2015 and 2016, he opened his heart out to the award winners and jury.
