After a long time, hero Rajasekhar has seen a blockbuster success. After his recent film ‘Garuda Vega’ released without any expectations, it went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year 2017 and the biggest hit in Rajasekhar’s career. While people questioned the guts of the producer who invested 25 crores for the film, the film managed to rake up 30+ crores at the box office. The film has fared well irrespective of the location.

The latest buzz is that the film struck gold with the Satellite rights. The Garuda Vega team managed to sort out a controversy that recently spiked between the producer and Jeevitha.

Prior to the film’s release, Jeevitha rejected an entertainment channel proposal after the channel representatives offered 1.3 crores. It is learned that, after Jeevitha demanded 2 Crores, the channel representatives felt that it wouldn’t be profitable to purchase a Rajasekhar film for such price. After the film’s release, the satellite rights of the film have been finally sold for 4 Crores.

Gemini TV came forward to offer a staggering price of 4 crores for the satellite rights of the film. Though Jeevitham demanded 5 crores, she finally agreed to 4 crores offered by Gemini TV. Both the family members and fans of Rajasekhar are delighted with the financial success of the film.

Akkineni Samantha shocked everyone after she attended the ‘Balakrishnudu’ film’s Audio Launch. Nara Rohit and Regina Cassandra are playing the lead roles in the film.

Later it was understood that the film’s producer Mahendra Babu, previously worked as a manager for Samantha. It was Mahendra Babu who has invited Samantha as the chief guest. Samantha always stated that ‘Mahendra Babu is an excellent manager’. The cordial relation between Samantha and Mahendra Babu was one of the main reasons she attended the event.

But the real truth is far from what has been heard so far. It is reported that Samantha actually financed the film. ‘Samantha has financed almost 3 crores for the movie. As you know Mahendra Babu, the producer of ‘Balakrishnudu’ worked as Samantha’s manager in the past. The cordial relation meant that Samantha came forward to finance the film. The producer has already returned 2 crores after the pre-release business. He will release the rest of the amount on the completion of the movie,’ said a close source.

This once again proves how kind-hearted Samantha is when it comes to helping people whom are close to her.

Filmmaker Maruthi has been on a winning streak. His recent movies fared well at the box office. The successful director is currently working with Naga Chaitanya for the film ‘Sailaja Reddy Alludu’. The film is being produced on Sithara Entertainments. Initially, it was thought that Ramya Krishna would be playing the role of Sailaja Reddy, the mother-in-law to the hero.

But the production team dismissed those claims and confirmed that they did approach veteran actress Tabu for the role. The latest buzz is that Director Maruthi has approached the ‘Queen of Indian cinema’ Sridevi for the role of mother-in-law to the hero. Close sources have confirmed that Sridevi was positive after listening to the script. It is expected that in the upcoming day, Sridevi is likely to make a decision.

In case if Sridevi rejects the role, the Director has a Plan B too. He is likely to approach Tabu once again for the role. The film is currently in pre-production stage. The heroine of the film is yet to be confirmed. The director has approached Akkineni Samantha to play the female lead.

The Telugu film industry has been eagerly waiting for ‘Power Star’ Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram film ‘Agnathavasi’ from a long time. The film marks the 25th film of Pawan Kalyan. Fans and audience are anxiously waiting for film’s release. The film’s shooting is currently proceeding in Varanasi. Producer Radhakrishna stated that ‘the film will complete its shooting by the end of this month. We will release the film’s first look very soon’.

According to close sources, it is understood that the Audio Launch of the film is scheduled for the 3rd week of December. The film’s audio launch event is expected to take place at Andhra Pradesh state capital Amaravati. Pawan Kalyan is parallelly working on his political party ‘Janasena’.

The producer is already busy making arrangements for the grand event. It is understood that the Audio launch event is not only aimed at the promotion of the film but also to stand as a platform to focus and support Pawan’s political journey. Pawan Kalyan might well make a key announcement at the Audio launch event.

The arrangements would accommodate thousands of fans. This event would be an open-air event in Amaravati. The film is expected to collect 200 Crores upon its release.

Filmmaker Gunasekhar has been highly vocal about the Nandi Awards dispute. The director alleged that the Nandi Awards Jury members have shown prejudice. In the past, he also produced and directed the film ‘Rudramadevi’ starring Anushka Shetty. The film has received good response from the audience too. Gunasekhar felt that his film ‘Rudramadevi’ at least deserved a special award from the Nandi Jury.

After his heightened protest against the Nandi Awards Jury and AP State Govt. the director is in trouble. After his film, ‘Rudramadevi’ many prominent producers like Dil Raju offered to produce his upcoming films. Gunasekhar is busy finalizing the script for ‘Hiranyakashipu’. Initially, it was rumoured Jr. NTR would play the lead role in the film. But the film has finally ended up with Daggubati Rana. The film is being produced by Daggubati Suresh Babu (father of Rana).

The latest buzz is that Suresh Babu is on a back step about producing the film. Given his nature, he wants everything to be in place before he starts-off a movie. Mega fans have been waiting eagerly for the Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘Agnathavasi’. The film is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The production unit has recently stated that the film wrapped up it’s shooting with the last leg in Europe. But the recent news is that the production team is gearing up for another new schedule in Varanasi. Close sources to the production unit have confirmed the same.

Scenes will be panned on Pawan Kalyan and other star cast in the film in Varanasi. Pawan Kalyan returned to Hyderabad recently from London. Pawan Kalyan received the prestigious IEBF – Indo European Business Forum Excellency Award in the House of Lords. Trivikram Srinivas shot some scenes in Hyderabad while Pawan Kalyan was away.

The director and the production team are working day and night to ensure that the film releases according to the schedule, i.e., for 2018 Sankranti festival. Keerthi Suresh and Anu Immanuel are the heroines starring opposite Pawan Kalyan in the film. The film has already achieved a huge pre-release business, owing to the Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram combination. It is reported that Bhuvneshwar Singh reportedly declared that he would give Rs. 1 Crore to anyone who burns Deepika Padukone alive. He said, ‘Deepika Padukone should know the real character of Rani Padmini who had performed Jauhar (burning alive in a fire). I will give 1 crore to anyone who forces Deepika Padukone to perform Jauhar’.

Recently, Kshatriya Samaj has announced a bounty of Rs. 5 crores for beheading Deepika Padukone and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The film’s release has been postponed after the CBCF refused to certify the film on the grounds of ‘incomplete application’. One of the producers, Viacom 18’s representative has recently announced that ‘the film will not be released on 1^st of December. We respect the constitution and the CBFC. We are hoping that we would obtain all the obligatory permission for the release of the film.’
