Recently after a video containing a man and woman having intimate moments became viral. It was alleged that the man in the video is Hardik Patel, Chief of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS). Post the circulation of the video-imagery, Hardik Patel issued a statement, ‘The dirty politics have begun. I am not in that alleged imagery. It will not make any difference to me by defaming me. I am not married and I am not impotent,’ said the young political leader.

In another incident, Hero Rajasekhar also made some sensational comments on his affairs recently. In a recent web-interview, Rajasekhar has accepted that he had a couple of illicit/intimate relationships before his marriage. Interestingly, no controversy took place after his comments. Instead, many people appreciated the actor for being frank about his past.

These two instances clearly illustrate the change in Society. In the past, even a rumor of this kind became a sensational news. But these days, instead of giving unnecessary attention, these things are being into the society. ‘Everyone does commit a mistake, and accepting them needs guts,’ said a young woman. Prabhas has demanded 20 Crores to act in Bollywood film after Bollywood Director-cum-Producer Karan Johar offered him a film. After knowing Prabhas’ remuneration, Karan Johar publicly tweeted that, ‘not ever superstar like Rajinikanth would demand. It would take some more time for your first Hindi film’. Many people also expressed the same opinion. But the insider news is that Prabhas is nowhere interested in Hindi films, and willingly quoted such a huge amount so that producer would be off from him.

Similarly, Karan Johar too offered Anushka Shetty in Bollywood. He was ready to pay the Baahubali actress Rs 5 Crores. But Anushka also rejected his offer stating that she wouldn’t be signing on any projects until the release of her upcoming film ‘Bhagamathi.’ Anushka also rejected many Tamil film offers, with Ajith and Surya starring in a couple of films.

Prabhas and Anushka’s love affair has been a long-time rumour in the industry. Though one doesn’t know the truth about their relationship, their decisions have been on the same lines. It’s really puzzling whether Prabhas and Anushka rejected Bollywood offers at one’s own personal front or by taking a mutual decision.

The latest buzz is that Prabhas has come forward to help the producer MS Raju, who has once given him a blockbuster like ‘Varsham’. MS Raju’s son Sumanth Ashwin is currently acting in a ‘web-series’ alongside Niharika Konidela. Sumanth Ashwin did star in few movies in the past. But none of them managed to achieve commercial success. With no other option, the producer MS Raju requested Prabhas to help his son.

Even Prabhas who is a class apart in the film industry currently, had has seen flops initially in his career. It wasn’t until ‘Varsham’ movie that Prabhas became an established hero in the Telugu Film Industry. Post ‘Varsham’ that actor has been very careful and cautious in choosing his films.

Prabhas has planned for a movie under UV Creations which belongs to his friends. Sumanth Ashwin would be playing the male lead role in the upcoming film. Interestingly, all the films produced by UV Creations so far have become hits and super hits. Expecting the same tradition, MS Raju and Prabhas are hoping that Sumanth Ashwin would also see his first commercial success.

It looks like Prabhas has been waiting for this kind of opportunity to show his gratitude towards MS Raju, who has given him a break with a film like ‘Varsham’ in the past.

The actor is known to charge hefty amount even to participate in a small-game show. Recently in an interview, the actor spoke about his remuneration. ‘I was invited for a TV Show anchored by Suma. The TV Show producer makes money using my name and fame. What’s wrong if I make money in my name? Isn’t the anchor Suma taking money for anchoring the show? Even Omkar also charged heavily to become a host for a reputed dance show. Is it wrong if I charge money?’ said Posani in his unique cut-throat tone.

Posani himself stated that he is ready to do a TV Show if they pay him Rs. 1 Lakh per day as his remuneration. ‘I have earned enough for my lifetime. But I still want to earn money. I don’t think it’s wrong,’ said the actor.

Varma Ropes-in Big B for his film with Nagarjuna

It is well known that Big B Amitabh Bachchan is playing a guest role in Chiranjeevi’s historical epic film ‘Sye Raa…Narasimha Reddy.’ The expectation on the film sky-rocketed after it was announced that of Big B will be a part of the film. The film is being directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Chiranjeevi’s son Ramcharan Teja on Konidela Productions on an estimated budget of Rs 200 Crores.

Meanwhile, Big B Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in another Telugu movie. Controversial director, RGV has confirmed that his next film would be Akkineni Nagarjuna. Even the latter has confirmed the same. Given the close association of RGV and Big B, it is heard that RGV requested Amitabh Bachchan to play a guest role in his upcoming movie with Nagarjuna. The action-thriller movie sports Nagarjuna in the role of a cop.

When Big B had a bad time with his films in the past, it was RGV who came to the rescue. RGV game Big B some memorable hits like Sarkar and Sarkar Raj that shot Big B once again to where he belongs to. A few years back, Mass Maharaja Raviteja was one among the ‘minimum guarantee’ heroes in the film industry. Irrespective of the content and talk, Raviteja’s films used to do minimum business. Many of his past producers always expressed that a film with Ravi meant they are in safe hands.

In recent times with changing trends, competition among the films soared high. Even small-budget films are standing as great opposition to star-hero films. The recent success of ‘Arjun Reddy’ is a clear example of what a content-based film can do, and failure of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’ proves that star-hero films without content fail at the box office.

Given the current environment, Raviteja is nowhere considered as ‘Minimum Guarantee’ as he was in the past. His recent films before ‘Raja The Great’ bombed at the box office. Even he has taken a long break of 2 years after consecutive flops. With ‘Raja The Great’ becoming a commercial success, the star hero has hiked his remuneration.

‘He hiked his remuneration by 30% all of a sudden. In the past, even with hit-after-hit Raviteja never increase his remuneration so drastically,’ said a producer who recently purchased right to remake a Tamil film that became a super hit.

After ‘Raja the Great’ many producers who approached Ravi took a back seat after knowing the hike in his remuneration. Currently, no one in the film industry including Raviteja can be considered as ‘minimum guarantee heroes’.

Recently, news about scriptwriter Vijayendra Prasad went viral. It stated that he will not be venturing into direction anymore. The ace scriptwriter (father of SS Rajamouli) has directed few films in the past. With the latest developments in the Tollywood, it is clear that the news about Vijayendra Prasad not venturing into direction anymore is just a rumor. The latest buzz in the tinsel town is that Vijayendra Prasad has approached comedian-turned-hero Sunil with a script. The hero was impressed and has given green signal to act in the upcoming film under Vijayendra Prasad’s direction.

While few film critics stated that, the offer from Vijayendra Prasad is a good one for Sunil who is currently finding hard to get any comedy roles after he failed to impress as a hero. Meanwhile, another section of film critics felt that it wouldn’t be of any use to Sunil to act in Vijayendra Prasad’s movie.

Releasing on a small-budget, ‘Arjun Reddy’ took the box office by storm. It stood among the top movies for the year 2017. The Telugu audience was blown away, given the raw content of the film. On an equal note, the film gathered hype and attention because of the lip locks between the hero and heroines. While Vijay Devarakonda played the male lead, new actress Shalini Pandey played the female lead.

Recently, the movie’s rights for the Tamil remake have been purchased for a handsome amount. The Tamil remake is titled ‘Varma’. The film’s script and hero’s final look have also been confirmed. But interestingly the film’s female lead is not yet confirmed.

The lip locks in ‘Arjun Reddy’ not only brought in collections but also controversies that gave the film enough publicity. It is learned that the director of the Tamil remake is keen about the lip locks in the film. ‘The director is desperate to have 1 Lip-lock more than the Telugu version,’ said a close source.

The ‘Varma’ production unit said the director is currently in search for the heroine and is even looking for a new-comer to reprise the role of Shalini Pandey. Though the director approached many heroines to play the female lead, every one of them rejected.

Her recent film ‘Padmavathi’ has gathered enough controversies even before its release. After the Karni Sena, it is the turn of the Mewar Royal Family to join the agitations against the release of the Sanjay Lelaa Bhansali Film ‘Padmavathi’.

‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali who stated that he has done extensive research for the film never approached us. He is clearly trying to misrepresent the Hindu Culture and Indian nation,’ said MK Viswaraj Singh, a royal descendant of Mewar family.

MK Viswaraj also said that ‘It is highly unacceptable if someone tries to misrepresent our rich cultural heritage and history.’

He has written letters to PM Narendra Modi, CBFC Chairman, Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani, Human Resources and Development Minister Javadekar and Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia requesting them to take immediate action against Sanjay Leela Bhansali and stall the film’s release.

It is feared by the Royal community that Bhansali who is known for his secular ideologies will depict the might of Sultans rather than Rajputs in the film and especially in the scenes involving Rani Padmini and Allauddin Khilji.The film is scheduled for release on 1^st December. The film is being produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Bhansali Productions at an estimated budget of Rs. 200 crores.

Jr. NTR is currently at the peak of his career. With back to back hits and ever increasing craze, the Nandamuri hero is leading the race. But YSRCP, known for its wittiness is trying its best to pull Jr. NTR into the party. Given the bad rapport NTR is having with CM Chandrababu and his uncle Balakrishna, YSRCP is ready to play its mind games. The Pro-YSRCP section in social media got itself busy by spreading a long-buried rumor.

‘NTR’s father-in-law Narne Srinivasa Rao is all set to contest in the upcoming 2019 elections on behalf of YSRCP’ read the rumor. A similar rumor was doing rounds even in the previous elections. But no such thing took place.

After Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani resigned to TDP and joined YSRCP, NTR had to issue a statement that he has got no role to play in Nani moving to YSRCP, and he wouldn’t be taking part in active politics. Post that incident; there has been a dip in NTR films especially from that region. He is currently limiting himself to acting completely.

To counter Chandrababu’s strategies and Pawan Kalyan’s craze among the fans YSRCP is not leaving any stone unturned to get Jr.NTR into its party. Let’s hope that Jr.NTR is aware of what he is doing and wouldn’t be the part of YSRCP.
